  1. Just got off the Magic yesterday.  I thought the internet was horrible.  I received the Social Plan for free and upgraded to Value because you can't access any common websites to read the news with the Social Plan.  One of the Internet people onboard said it was not worth it to get the Premium Plan because I would not see any difference. When it worked, it was just okay.  When it didn't, it was annoying. I had to keep logging on and / or restarting my Wi-Fi.

  2. I just recently sailed on the Mardi-Gras and Sky Princess.  Mask wearing in certain areas had the policy of "sip and cover" (Shows, Casino, Theater, etc).  Public areas like the atrium, lido deck and pool area, masks were optional, and only a few people wore them. In the areas where masks were required (elevators and hallways), most wore masks.  When some didn't in any venue, no one said anything except for the announcements before the shows. With these cruise lines stopping the mask mandate, Carnival will soon follow.  It should just be a personal choice from now on.  I won't begrudge anyone wanting to wear a mask.  Just like they shouldn't begrudge me for not wearing one.

  3. I just got off the Mardi-Gras, I took went to Guest Services each day and got my hard copy of the activities.  It makes it easier in my opinion to highlight what activity you want to do.  Also, I love keeping those as a memory from the trip.

  4. Found my first duck on a cruise before the pandemic. Googled it when I got home and saw it was a thing. I did two cruises this year and hid ducks both times.  Few times my wife and I get drinks and watched discreetly until they were found. We were thrilled when people and crew found them. One person even posted the pic of one of my ducks they found on the duck website.  I think it's a wonderful idea.

  5. I read the CDC order.  The order expires 100 days from March 14, 2020.  That would make it June 22, not July 24th.  And that day can be earlier according to the guidelines. Also, the plans mentioned was supposed to be submitted within 7 days of the order, so I'm sure the cruise lines did that already.  I still think the June 27th cruise will sail.  The country is opening up. And the CDC decision making process concerning the cruising industry will probably be guided by the current administration, not on thier own.
