  1. We had FV 8181 on Summit last summer - with me, my wife, and son - just 3 of us. No up-charges for 4th or 5th person at all. I saw it open up online, emailed my TA and he got it for us for about $200 more than the Balcony we had reserved first! no brainer - even if you got assigned a FV that was not the ridiculous balcony on the corners... the extra room and separate room for the little ones was great! Enjoy your cruise!

  2. Is there a juice bar on the Celebrity Summit or a place to get fresh fruit juices on board?

There is a bar in the back of lido buffet - fresh orange juice every morning at breakfast - it was wonderful! They had signs for fresh grapefruit juice too, but never had it the week we were on last summer.

Only breakfast though.. Enjoy Summit! We had a great cruise!

  3. We used the babysitting service this past July.

Definately go directly to Guest Services when you board.

They will have you complete a request form, which

will include your requested times - we had babysitting starting at 6PM

on one night - and it does depend on their availability.

First come, first served for you though - go directly to

guest services when you board. Can't say that enough...

The sitters were great with our LO, no problems.

    Have a great cruise!

We are looking forward to taking our LO on his next!

  4. We cruised with our 15 month boy this past July. We had had a great time!

Plan on bringing everything you need. We brought an unopened large box of diapers. Carry it on, as well as anything you can't do without. It made boarding rough with carrying so much, but they will help if you ask...

We did the request for formula, baby food, and cereal. I advise you go directly to guest services to check on the request once you board. We we fortunate our room was ready a bit early, not only to drop our carry ons off, but to see that our formula, etc, was not there.... Went to guest services, they took a while to find our request form, but they did eventually find it. Then they had trouble locating where it all was, or who was responsible for fulfilling the request. Since we came prepared, we were not too worried, but since it was included in the fare...you know.... Turned out our waiter took the liberty to grab it all and then have it prepared to serve at dinner. Nice! But I am sure you are asking yourself, what about the rest of the day....as we did. Since our waiter did not have children, he did not think about that part, thinking he was doing the right thing... Once Guest Services found the formula, etc, it was promptly delivered to our room just before the ship sailed.

Moral of the story...be sure to keep copies of your request, and double check with guest services right away...and always be prepared with what you will need.

Ad as always, have fun! Your schedule and your baby's schedule will be off the usual, but isn't that how all vacations go?!;)

  5. Can you reserve with only two people? No soot or motion issues?

We reserved it with 3, our 14 month old... No problem, it was through a travel agent and done 6 ,months ahead of time.

No soot at all. There was some motion on the way home from Bermuda, but nothing we didn't feel from anywhere we were on the ship...

A little noise from the aft bar above, but the noise from the wake drowned most of the bar music away, and it was only when there was the steel drummer playing live. Other times, nothing from above...

Best balcony we will probably ever have...
