Can we Brits apply for the Princess Visa Card. Is it worth getting?

We got off the Sapphire on November 26th in Singapore and there were no kettles or coffee/tea making facilities in the cabins then. Going on the Coral in April. Is this going to be rolled out across all ships.

Just wanted to follow up to my question posted earlier if anyone else was in the same situation... We originally booked a balcony but upgraded to a minisuite when the prices dropped for a difference in price. Our sailing ended up being quite empty and we checked with guest services upon embarkation and was able to snag an aft facing penthouse suite for $100 per person! The balcony alone sold me. I was very satisfied with Princess and the price we paid overall for the cruise. My advice is to check with guest services if any upgrades are available once boarding =)

Did you mean you checked at pursers desk when you boarded before going to your cabin or before boarding.

Now been offered a wait list mini suite forward starboard for westbound April Panama full transit. Has anyone knowledge of the mini suites in this Area. Do the balconies offer a bit of shade. By the deck plans it looks like the balconies above are exactly the same. I want some shelter some sun. Have rung Princess and I have to accept by tomorrow. Thanks

I received an email offering us a mini suite on our forthcoming Panama cruise. We have been on the wait list.

Nowhere on the email did it say you only had 72 hrs to accept. In fact the email was just a new booking confirmation with new cabin and price. It didn't even intermate you HAD to confirm. Imagine my disappointment when I rang to confirm and they said 'too late'!!!! Shocking

We are sailing FL to LA. We have been on wait list for mini suite, we have booked guarantee balcony cabin. We want some shade which I know the mini suites on Dolphin don't have but want to know if this one will be ok. Thanks for any help

We have been offered b223 mini suite (baja deck) on Coral princess.Could anyone tell me how exposed /shady the balcony is. We are sailing Panama full transit April 2015.

We sail on sapphire princess on 10th November. Yesterday were offered a move from our BA guarantee balcony cabin to a mini suite for £300 per person. I thought this was a bit much so declined.Will wait for our allocation and take pot luck.

You will get what you want. We are on Ocean this Christmas which is a much smaller ship. We had a mini-suite and had been wait listed for a full suite since January. Up until a few weeks ago all the mini-suites were also sold out and had been for some time.

 

As the final day for payment approached, one suite came available and that released our old mini-suite. Since then pay day has passed and there are now 6 mini-suites available on what is a much smaller ship than Coral.

 

I think that you can be confident that you will get a better choice of mini-suites in January when everyone has to pay up. Just keep checking on the Princess website, by making "dummy bookings to see what cabins are available then phone your TA when you see what you want.

 

I say this because, in my case, although they were intending to contact me when a suite came available, after a cancellation by a US client, the cancellation happened late in the day Pacific Time and the computer system responded immediately and the suite reappeared on the website and could have been booked as new client. Fortunately I spotted it at 9am the following morning and called. Apparently they were planning to call me when head office opened up in the morning, which would have been mid afternoon in the UK, by which time it could easily have been long gone to someone new who booked on line.

 

The moral of the story is therefore - don't just wait to be contacted - be proactive.

I have looked at the princess site and there is another mini suite D616 available. I suppose I could ring back about this but don't know if that's got any shade.How can I find out which cabins have a bit of shade?

We already have a balcony booked but are on wait list for mini suite.

We decided to decline this mini suite and go back on wait list hopefully for something more suitable.

We want some sun but with a little shade on the balcony for my husband who has already had a brush with skin cancer.

Does anyone have any idea if Mini suite Cabin D315 on Coral has any shade on the balcony from lifeboats above? We have been offered this cabin .

We are going through the Panama Canal in April and would like a little shade as well as sun on the balcony.

Do you buy the drinks package for the whole of your cruise or can you buy it for just some days.

If you buy on board say on day 2or3 ,would you still be charged for the whole cruise .

Do Princess still do Happy/power hour at 8pm?

The in cabin spirits at $22 for 375cl seems very expensive. Thought they might do a standard bottle with mixers package like other lines.

Can you buy a bottle of spirits with mixers as a package for in cabin consumption on Sapphire princess. We have done this on P&O and Cunard in the past.

We are in Antigua on a Sunday. We want to go to Nelsons Dockyard by bus. Will this be tricky on a Sunday.I'm presuming the buses will run less frequently on Sundays.
