  1. Thank you, all. I've not even been, so I'm curious. Is it as busy and packed as WDW?? We plan to do a day in Hollywood and do all the tour stuff and then I also want some time at the Santa Monica pier with my kids. They are 3 & 8... So aside front the cruise, I want this to be a trip to remember. We just did WDW for a whole week last November, but like I said earlier, I wanted to do DL if it was worth it and different.

    Thank you :)

  2. Thank you both! I went to Blue lagoon years ago and totally forgot about that. Definitely an idea and I think a beach day is a great idea-- want something fun to go do with my daughter-- like a banana boat or something :)

  3. I have been to St Thomas once, which was my Honeymoon; however, this will be our first time with our 2 children. Daughter will be almost 7 by the time we go and our son will be almost 21 months old by the time we go. We are going in October (if that makes a difference).

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Tradition that we do.. souvenir wise..is anywhere we go on a cruise.. in each port, we buy:

    Coffee mug

    Cookbook (from that particular place/Island/region/country)

License Plate (some are authentic, no longer used ones..we've gotten one from almost every island we have been too)
