The last two times I cruised on Regal (the most recent was Summer 2022) the Internet speed was so bad that it was something of a joke. You could not even check your email unless you had about 20-30 minutes to wait. It was definitely not worth purchasing. I was wondering if anyone had any recent experience with internet speeds on Enchanted. I'm trying to decide whether to purchase. Thanks in advance.

Just off the Regal (21 days) and the Internet was virtually nonexistant the entire cruise, except in the wee hours of the night when it seemed decent.

Are they the same as B2B procedures in the US? Will we have to get covid tests and disembark if we are not doing any excursions? Thank you in advance!

We were in L102 on the Regal a few years back and LOVED it.

I did a lot of research about the forward facing balcony cabins before booking them. You generally CAN use the balcony while the ship is moving. But there are sometimes issues with open blinds causing the light from inside the cabin (which is right above the ship's bridge) causing visibility issues on the bridge at night due to glare. I think this is why some have occasionally reported being told that they can't use the balcony while the ship is at sea.

If you keep your balcony door closed, and the blinds drawn if it's night time,  you should be able to use it anytime you want. Wind can be an issue when the ship is underway though, unless the ship is traveling the same direction of a strong breeze, which actually makes the big balcony quite pleasant, almost as as there is no wind.

I just faxed my application for a shareholder OBC for a June Mediterranean Cruise. YAY! This is always a very warm and fuzzy moment for me, as it means that a cruise is getting close. This one is especially satisfying because DW and I have not cruised since December 2019.

Does anyone know who the CD and/or ED is on the Regal?

Marcus was an assistant CD on one of our past sailings, and was by far the best CD we've ever had.

Scheduled for a 21 day Med cruise on the Regal this June. Does anyone know who the ED and CDs are expected to be?

Of course we will cruise with Princess again.

They will change the shower curtain if you ask. I know from experience b/c my wife has a sensitive nose and is often bothered by the smell of the old shower curtain. 🙂

Prune juice has always been available on request on every princess cruise I've ever been on.

Never any real danger of selling out if you sign up upon boarding. Usually doesn't sell out, even several days into the cruise. Will report back to you all shortly after boarding my Regal cruise this month regarding the state of the enclave ( ie beds and pools well heated, etc.).

You can by a case of bottled water pre-cruise (check princess' cruise personalizer) for a very good price. Will save you the hassle of carrying it on.

I'm sailing on Regal in a few weeks, are any other recent Regal patters out there? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know if they will let you "skip" the tender line to debark if you have an early banana boat ride booked? Thanks.

Per Princess you can "move" a FCD from a non-refundable deposit cruise to another cruise without losing the FCD.

Can any recent Regal passengers provide an update on this issue? DW and I are scheduled for a Regal cruise in December 2018. Thanks in advance! :)
