I've seen several people say they have contacted John Heald for various reasons. How do you contact him? Do you make a public post to his Facebook page? Contact him via Facebook Messenger? Or is there some other way? What is the most effective?

Is it a refundable OBC so that you get check at the end of the cruise if you do not spend it all?

I emailed him with a request for our May 26 cruise and took care of us. Very helpful.

NCL gives a Platinum (80 pts.) 2 free specialty dinners for 2 every cruise thereafter.

I bet if you compare the cost to get to platinum on NCL vs the cost to get to platinum on Carnival you will see that you paid for those "free" meals. Nothing is "free".

I was on the Liberty in February and I posted the MDR dinner, breakfast, & lunch menus as well as the steakhouse here....

You need a phone. You call them when you are entering the customs line. They will be waiting for you when you get outside. You could borrow a phone from someone else waiting in line. 

I was on a 4 night Liberty cruise in February. I posted the nightly menus along with the brunch and steakhouse here....

Last August we did this for a 10:45am flight. We did self-disembarkation and had a reservation with SAS Transportation. We had bags checked and were through security waiting at the gate by 9am. I was actually disappointed that we made such good time and had to sit in the terminal for almost 2 hours. 

I would do it again.

This has been my experience as well but last night on the Fantasy they were not given an option. Baked Alaska was it.

I've been on several Carnival cruises and they have never brought Baked Alaska to very table. We have always been given a menu and ordered like all other nights. I guess maybe it is at the discretion of the maitre'd.

My parents just got off the Fantasy this morning. They had Your Time Dining. They said last night no one in the MDR was given a dessert menu. Everyone got Baked Alaska. My wife and I were on the Liberty 3 weeks ago and had Early Dining and had a dessert menu every night. 

So is this new across the fleet?

Is it just a YTD thing?

Is it just on the Fantasy?

I'm not a huge warm chocolate metling cake fan myself but there are a few people I cruise with (my wife for sure) that would cause a scene if they were denied their last WCMC.

Day 1

We have communicated with our sons via iMessage with no problem the last 5-6 cruises. We have carried on long text conversations and it is almost as quick as being on land. It will not send pictures. 

I have also communicated with a few android users using WhatsApp. It will send pictures.

We have even talked with one of our sons a couple of times over the WhatsApp Voice Call option. It has a slight lag but it works. We talked for over 20 minutes each time.  

I am seeing the new layout. I just booked a cruise and as I usually do I logged in to select my embarkation time and do the online check-in. BUT it says the online check-in is not available until Feb 25th!!!! Is this something that changed with this new layout??? I have always checked in just after booking. Sometimes a year in advance.
