You mention free at sea plus in the thread title, but your question seems to relate to the standard free at sea offer.
Its probably worth clarifying to avoid getting conflicting and incorrect information, although it is probably too late now as a lot of people just reply to the original port without reading the thread.
I realized my mistake after carefully reading your helpful posts...it is only free at sea...thank you again for the help

Hello, just booked on Joy for Panama January 21-February 6, 2025 and was wondering how many free specialty restaurants come with this length of cruise and if you can use them at any specialty restaurant. Was unsure if you can use it to zero out your bill at Texas Smokehouse or Cagney's
thanks

We came through unscathed, our driver said that it was reported that 70 PAX had covid, information came from the attendant at the garage, and advised her to put on a mask.
Saw many PAX seasick those last two days, they ran out of bags on deck #8 several times.

Thank you...pretty mild symptoms but that at least gives a rough timeline of when I could have contracted.

We were on this cruise as well and were lucky to miss the flooded cabins as we were 10658. Thought the food was good...didn't go hungry and the staff on the ship was excellent. Our first time on NCL and while we both prefer Celebrity, wouldn't hesitate to go on NCL if the itinerary was good. Landed back in Canada with a positive Covid test...not sure if contracted on the ship or the plane.

Awesome...thanks again Cake

Hello, has anyone had dealings with dropping your rental car off at this location on the day of your cruise?

Cake...did you happen to notice if there was any Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic) on board? Thanks again for all the updates

thanks for the reply...we leave for Tampa on the 25th (cruise on the 27th) and although our winter has been really mild so far, it has arrived with snow and -30 C temps this week.
first timers with NCL but 6th overall

thanks for all the replies...our cruise docs don't say which terminal specifically (unless i keep missing it)

leaving on the Jade on January 27, 2024...how do we know which cruise terminal it goes out of?
-
We're non-smokers and wondering if smoking allowed on Jade and if so...where?

Just wondering if anyone has taken a taxi to the National park to hike from there to Conchi...how much the taxi was and how long to hike there and back...and if you can pre-book a ride back to the cruise port.
thanks in advance

This was awesome...we got the premium package on our first X cruise on the Millenium and thought it was worth it...now I can clearly see that it DEFINITELY was...leave again in 3 days with the premium upgrade on Equinox

Hi, we have been on both and the shows on Celebrity are much better than the ones on Carnival

So many helpful people!!!
So grateful for all of the kind advice. We are reading responses with excitement and planning feels less like stress and more like fun. Thank you for all of your helpful input.
The ports of call for this cruise on the Eclipse are below:
- Oranjestad, Aruba
- Willemstad, Curacaon
- St. George's, Grenada
- Bridgetown, Barbados
- Castries, St. Lucia
- St. John's, Antigua
- Basseterre, St. Kitts
- Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Hi, on our Southern Caribbean out of SJ we hit most of the same ports with the exception of Antiqua...Aruba and Curacao were both beach days on a bus outside the port...Grenada was a private tour booked outside on our own...took us through the country...bought some spices...saw where the local law enforcement trained...Barbados was a Mt Gay rum tour which was good and this time we are going with Calabazza charters for a snorkeling excursion...St. Lucia was booked with Spencer Ambrose and was really good...former police officer and very knowledgeable...St. Kitts was a private tour to Cockleshell...views were great...this next cruise is a volcano hike and St. Maarten was the America's cup yacht race which was a lot of fun...followed by "pour your own happy hour" at a bar on the beach (although I can't quite remember what it was called...imagine that...:)
- Oranjestad, Aruba

We have been on Celebrity RCL and Carnival so far in our cruising history with the Celebrity cruise out of San Juan being the best...we are back on Celebrity to escape our winter in 26 days...our first cruise was out of Miami with RCL and it was what got us hooked. I posted earlier that RCL was like "WOW" and Celebrity was like "Ahhhh"

December 12...just starting to get a bunch of snow in Saskatchewan...so looking forward:)

Hi, we will be sailing Equinox in December for a 10 night cruise and signed up for Select Dining as the 6pm was full. Have reservations for 6pm and was wondering if they normally seat you with the same people if they are present at 6?
