We have decided to arrive early pre-cruise to explore New York City for a couple of days before heading to the Cape Liberty cruise terminal. If we check out of our hotel by 11:00 - 11:30am, approximately what time will we get to the cruise port? We will not be driving so I will arrange for a shuttle to take us to Bayonne, NJ. Thanks in advance for any help.

Does anyone remember if there is a time difference between ship time and Cozumel time when arriving at this port? I don't want to be late for an excursion booked for 11:00am in Cozumel or is it the same time as the ship? Thanks in advance for any help.

Do RCI provide some sort of tote bag to passengers on the Allure? I don't want to pack another beach bag if they provide something that I can put my towels for a beach day. Thanks.

We have decided to forego the formal dress on our upcoming Allure cruise too. I have always rented a tux for my husband but because there's so much happening on these big ships, we decided to dress casual for this cruise. If we eat in the MDR on a non-formal night, will my husband be okay in casual pants with a short-sleeve polo shirt or is it only long-sleeve shirts with jacket allowed in the MDR? I forgot what the rule of thumb is besides no jeans/shorts. Thanks for your help.

What deck were you on? We're going to be on Deck 12 so I might have to bring some seasick meds with me just to be on the safe side. Thanks.

I wanted to book for the early 7:00pm time for the "Chicago" show on Allure but just realized that the Kids Club don't open until 7:00pm. I can't book for the first night as the Kids Club is not even opened and we don't have anyone else coming on this cruise that can take my son to AO. Will they still let people in the theatre after the show has started? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for your concise review. You mentioned you were the last group to disembark the ship. What time was that? How long did it take for your group to go through customs? Thanks for your help.

Can't wait to read your full review! You mentioned you had a late flight out of FLL Airport. What time did you disembark the ship then? We're in a similar situation with a later flight and I'm wondering what is the absolute latest time to be off the ship. Thanks.

Thanks for your Allure review. I just have a quick question regarding your comment on lunch on Labadee, can you go back to the ship and eat or do you have to eat on Labadee? Thanks for your help.

I'm interested in doing the Dolphin Swim too. How far is it to Chankanaab? Do you have to book a shuttle? or take a taxi? or is it walkable? Thanks for any help.

Welcome back home. Just wondered what time you finally disembarked the ship due to delays. I'm debating between the 12:05pm and 2:05pm flight out of FLL. I guess to be safe in case of delays, I should pick the later time. Thanksl.

Hi again - still following along with you! Just wanted to ask if the comedy shows and Ocean Aria are repeats. I notice from the Compasses that they are on at different days and times of the week and wondered if it is the same show/act. Thanks for taking time out of your vacation to answer questions.

Thank you for letting us follow along on your Allure trip. I'm from Vancouver, Canada and I'm trying to find the shortest flight to FLL. You mentioned a direct flight from SEA which isn't far from Vancouver. Can you tell me which airline, the departure and arrival times. How long of a taxi ride is it from FLL to Port Everglades? Are there lots of taxis available? Wasn't sure whether to book a shuttle or take a taxi. Sorry for all the questions. I got the cruise book but having trouble getting there!! Thanks in advance for your help. Have a great cruise and I look forward to your updates.

I was wondering more along the lines of whether they have "wash by the bag" specials like on other cruise lines. It will be our first Celebrity cruise so I don't think we qualify for any vouchers/discounts. Thank you.

Hi there. I just started reading your review - great photos!. My family was suppose to be on this cruise but due to a death in the family we had to cancel. We hope to rebook this same itinerary at a later date so I'm really enjoying your beautiful photo review of your trip. I'm not sure if anyone else asked this question already but I wanted to know if Celebrity offered any laundry service (wash & fold) during this long cruise. If so, how many times. As there is no laundry facility onboard the Solstice, I'm worried how to keep packing to a minimal but have enough clean clothes to wear on board especially when travelling with a young child. Thanks for your help.

Thank you both for sharing your comments and showing pics of 12729. It definitely doesn't show the bridge on the Royal Caribbean deck plans so I wasn't expecting that (only found out from reading reviews on CC)! I guess it will be shady but at least I will still get a view of the water and the Aqua Theatre. It sure looks from one of the pictures that you can just reach up and touch the bottom of that bridge. I hope it's not that close. Thanks again everyone.

I will be in 12729 (very last cabin) on Deck 12. It was the only aft cabin available on all the decks. Does that mean the balcony will be totally under the bridge? Will I still get some sort of view above? Thanks for any help.

Thank you for your very detailed review of your cruise on the Allure. I have a question about the Boardwalk Balcony room - can you actually see the aqua show from the balcony or do you need to have a cabin right near the front?

Hi there. Our cruise ship docks early in the morning in HNL. I can't find an earlier flight out than 8:50pm. What can one do with their luggage if they want to sightsee/shop without renting a car? Any suggestions? Are there any hotels who will store your luggage for the day or something like that? Thanks in advance to all for your input.

Hi wismergirl. I'm enjoying your review. Thanks for sharing the info and pictures of the Family Oceanview room. There hasn't been much info on these rooms. We are booked in one for next year on the 7th floor. My only concern is that I will be be seasick due to the room being at the very front of the ship. Did your parents encounter any seasickness? Was the ship rocking more at the front? Are the porthole windows big enough to get a good view out? Thanks in advance for your help.
