    Need a Hotel Recommendation for New Orleans French Quarter

    The hotel has an awesome restaurant in it, or Acme Oyster House is good too. We tried going there but line was literally down the road so we ended up at Draggo's in hotel & it was very good!! Make sure u get a river front room. Watch ur ship come in while eating beignets from room service! They were awesome!!

    Ate at Acme after cruise, and it was very good!!

    Quick help/advice for Galveston

    Thinking of going on the Triumph in May. We are looking for something inexpensive. Are there any hotels that will pick up from Hobby Airport and take you back to their hotel and then on to cruise port in the morning??

     

    I'm trying to decide between the Triumph and the Paradise and having sailed many times out of Tampa, we are just way more familiar with FL.

     

    I'd love to go out of TX so if anyone can offer me some advice I'd welcome it!!!

    Thanksgiving week

    We were on the Legend for Thanksgiving a few years back. They do serve a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixins!! Even the pumpkin pie. I cannot remember if there were t-giving decorations or not but I do remember the staff wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

    Miracle heading to SF for Dry Dock?

    Hey Capt!! We sailed with you on the Pride in January!! Any secret info on what will be done during drydock?? Mixed opinions on whether she'll get all the same stuff as Pride did. Man we sure hope she does!! Love Guys, Blue Iguana & dive in movies.

    I would book a guarantee.

     

     

     

    I have booked guarantees and it was kind of fun.

     

    Sort of like gambling.

     

     

     

    And I have chosen some cabins that turned out not so good.

     

     

    Especially if you're going to book cheapest balcony!! You're guaranteed at least that but will probably get better!!

    We booked 1-8-17 on the Vista yesterday. Couldn't pass up the valentines sale. Just this past January we sailed the Pride. Never book guarantee due to always wanting a specific balcony. We booked guarantee because we were going cheap & would've book a 7A obstructed balcony anyway. Ended up getting 8128!!! Right behind front elevators. Awesome location!!! Rolling the dice on the Vista because we'd have booked cove anyway. So we'll see! Location will NOT ruin our cruise as long as we have a balcony. Happy sailing!!!

    How about waking up some morning & finding someone sleeping/passed out on your balcony/patio!! Do the gates have a decent lock? And even if they did they dont look very tall!!??[emoji16][emoji15].
