We are in port for those exact hours and we are doing a horseback riding excursion and then staying for a bit of shopping in town.

We are headed out on Sunday and had booked 4 excursions through Celebrity. We found out one was canceled after finding a credit on our credit card. We called to find out what happened and Celebrity said that in our case, it looked like the excursion company canceled and they did not have a reason why.
You mentioned that you received a small OBC - was this a token from Celebrity to apologize for the cancellation?

Was there any difference in ship time and local time in Grand Cayman?

Thank you for your posts. We are on the same cruise leaving on 7/2/17. Our excursion through the ship was recently canceled for Grand Cayman. I couldn't find one I wanted to replace it with through Celebrity so I want to book one through a local company. The woman I was trying to book through asked me if the ship was on local or ship time - and I wasn't sure. I called Celebrity but got 2 different answers. Grand Cayman doesn't participate in daylight savings time so there can be a 1 hour time difference between ship and local time. When you get to GC, would you mind letting me know if there is a difference between ship and local time? Thank you so much!!:D

Thank you for your detailed post! We are doing this cruise on 7/2/17. Did you notice if the boat time was the same time as on Grand Cayman? We are booking a non celebrity excursion in Grand Cayman and want to be sure the time lines up for our booking. Thanks!

We are cruising on Celebrity Equinox out of Florida on 7/2/17. I am trying to book an excursion in Grand Cayman for 7/7/17 and am wondering if the cruise ship operates off the central time zone or off Eastern time zone - Cayman's local time zone?
We are scheduled to be in port from 10:30am until 6pm, but I think that actually means we will be in Grand Cayman from 9:30- 5. The only reason this matters is because I am trying to book an excursion that goes out at either 10:30am or 1:00pm - depending on the time we will be in port.
Any info would be helpful! Thanks!!

I know this is a strange question, but I saw a video of a woman in a balcony cabin on the Equinox who said there was a hand held lighted magnifying mirror provided in the desk drawer. She had an Aqua Class cabin. Does anyone know if they provide the lighted magnifying mirror in all cabins?
Thanks!

We are in port from 11-8pm and have book a Horseback Riding excursion. We have the option of returning directly to the pier or continuing to Oranjestad and exploring the town on our own and then be responsible for finding our own way back to the ship/pier. I can't seem to find information on Oranjestad - perhaps I am spelling it wrong? My question is, would it be somewhere you would want to spend a few hours exploring and how far is the ship/pier from there? Thanks!!
