Hi cruisn*tigger: Just snooping on other roll calls and noticed you are on the 30 day Luminosa September 14 from Seattle to Brisbane. I’m on there too. It’s a very quiet roll call.

Just put this cruise on hold, love its a cheaper price due to the small amount of ports, since I have to pay double as a solo and am not a gambler so don't get the deals lol. Can't wait for the Polynesian Islands, have been to Fiji on 3 land vacays but can't wait for that either. Heading to the Luminosa in Sept for the 30 day to Brisbane, so am excited to see the ship then.
I was on the Splendor to Singapore and that was Oct. Ocean was perfect for our entire trip.

Hi, John: It’s almost time to start our great adventure!! Looking forward to meeting up on the ship. Did you get on any excursions? I haven’t booked any yet but would like to join some, especially for Japan. When are you arriving in Seattle? I’m arriving on the 13, staying overnight at Motel 6 near the airport. It has some good reviews Joan.

You can use 95511 or 95522 which is the one I used.
Tried again tonight. Still doesn’t work. Won’t accept passport photo.

Thanks for the link. I just tried to start but the site is down now. Will try later or tomorrow.

It's a very tedious process. Here are some tips:
1. Have a good copy of your passport and a photo of yourself ready to upload.
2. For the address use Cruise Port and 95111 (I think , I'll verify tomorrow and correct if I'm wrong) for the zip code and all other blanks will fill in.
3. Call your Credit Card and make sure they won't block an Indonesian charge (~$35). That was my biggest problem and it took 2 calls to iron it out.
I probably spent 4-6 hours over 3 days doing this. The second day the site would error out loading the payment page. Website errors seem pretty common. Don't hesitate to walk away for a while if you get errors. Also don't worry about starting all over, I did that at least 3 or 4 times. It was very frustrating. It took 3 different photos of my passport to get one that was accepted. Be sure to verify the info it automatically populates from the passport is correct. One photo it misspelled my last name with an H instead of an M.
I've read where one person had to start over 28 times! Hopefully yours will go smoother than most.
Good luck and I'll try to help with any problems you might run into.

Could you supply the link for the Indonesian visa. Thank you.

You'll need the Australian and Indonesian visa; both are done online. The Philippines require an application done 4 days prior to entry.... Carnival will give us internet access to complete it on board.
You should have already gotten an email from Carnival about this, if not I can supply links to the visa sites.

Hello Everyone! Our family has booked two cabins for this journey. One is my parents (F-72 / M-75) and the other is for myself and my adult son (F-51 / M-27). My son and I are both incredibly excited for this trip, and even better that my parent will also be on board. Epic family vacation!! 🙂
My son and I especially, love to cruise! We love port days and seeing the sights, but we also love just hanging out on board the ship. We both are big fans of strategic board games, so on sea days you will be sure to find us at a table somewhere on the Lido with our large, complicated looking board games spread out on a table😂
Longest cruise to date for us has been a 16-day Hawaiian Journeys cruise on the Carnival Legend. Mom and Dads longest cruise to date was a 21-day Panama Canal cruise with HAL.
Can't wait to add this to the ledger!!! 🤩
Hi, Marsha: What strategic games do you play? I play Rumikub, sequence and some card games. I’ll look for you and your son on the Lido deck.

I’m joining y’all on this fantastic sounding cruise. Never done a transpacific before or visited Japan. Very excited!! I’m traveling solo and am one of the senior group. I lived in Phila. All my life but moved to Warminster, Pa. 4 years ago. I’m interested in joining group tours and participating in onboard activities. Look forward to meeting all real soon and having a great time!!

I'm getting $42 rebate back from Pullmantur via VTG for the missed visit to Aruba.
Did you ever get your $42.00 rebate back from VTG?
I never questioned them for it and never got it.
Don't know if it's too late to try to request it.

Hi all
So if we want to dine in the same area we need to contact the Maitre Di
I guess the first people on the ship should inquire. I know we hope to be on as early as possible. We are staying in Santurce just a short cab ride to the ship.
If anyone wants to post their cabin numbers just do it and hopefully we can compile a list before we leave on Thursday. I usually check this board once a day.
I will start I want to be able to sit with other solo English speaking cruisers or English speaking couples.

Just post your first name and cabin number I will keep a log and hopefully be onboard early enough to find out when to see the maitre de
