I just visited the museums website and it looks like the museum will be closed for a while.
All the stuff have been moved out to the national museums storage facilities in Brede north of Copenhagen.
Some of the politicians are talking about a rebuild or a totally new museum so it will probably first reopen sometimes next year if we are lucky. :(
Thanks for the update on this museum. We had this in our walking tour of Copenhagen and are disappointed we will not be able to visit it. I guess that means we will have to come back? :)
We appreciate all of the information given and questions answered here. Very helpful!

I kept passing up your thread thinking someone got this all confused and posted a review on the "Queen Mary" in the HAL site....wrong.
Outstanding review! Love your writing style. You appear to have a big following. Now I have to go and read all your previous reviews....but need to wait a day I am sore from laughing so much from this read.
Great pictures, especially The Big Island and the volcano. We were just there in Nov. 2012. Love that state and island!

We walk down the beach toward the last cabanas were you can have your own streach of beach by your self.
The attached link is early in the morning down the beach and it was warm and relaxing.

Try Google Maps, if you input Copenhagen in the search box and then satellite you will get a good view of the town. Use the street view function and you can view all the streets to the dock from Nordhavn. It looks like a real easy walk with nice side walks. A block in you will notice a blue line painted on the side walk that if you follow will take you right to the dock. No steps or stairs.
