  1. Deliver ... the work is carried out by 3 shifts which as you have mentioned is being carried out 24/7

    CMM ...

The Centre GS from Deck 10 upwards have forward facing balconies in the centre as you have seen, the Deck 9 Centre GS has a walk out Forward balcony as do the S2 Fantastica Suites either side which are accessible from the side of the ship.

It may well be that the side GS have a hidden balcony behind the dark Glass on the front where the Porthole window is, but is unlikely.

Until someone stays in them or MSC deem us worthy enough to release photos then no one currently knows for sure.

Having looked at the drone footage on Youtube you can see the open Deck 9 balcony from about 4 seconds in up to 22.

That Drone footage was from April! What have you done for us lately!:evilsmile:

  2. I have Seaside YC booked for February 2019 but had Haven on NCL Escape booked for this upcoming February. I have been stalking the MSC website multiple times a day for an opening in YC for February 24 and FINALLY today came across two cabins that became available as well as an inside YC, which must have been released last night or this morning (I looked at 8:30 am when I got into work).

I snagged my February 24 YC balcony cabin on Deck 16 and asked my TA to cancel my NCL Escape Haven (just sailed on same ship in July). While I love the Haven, I look forward to trying something new. I'm Platinum on NCL, three days away from Diamond on RCCL and a few DCL and CCL cruises thrown in. I'm hoping MSC is a new line on our list.

I'm sailing without my dh and college kids and it will just be my mom and me, who is a cruise snob so I'm hoping the YC is at least on par with NCL Haven. I have gone through this entire thread and very thankful for all the postings, speculation, pictures and facts (at least the ones we can find from MSC).

I haven't been on here too much knowing my cruise was next year (and having two in between) but so happy I can be part of this thread and waiting in anticipation with you all regarding the next few months with Seaside. Cannot wait to sail!

I love the Haven on NCL that being said MSC does not have to travel far to have a better pool than the Haven pools on NCL! :')

  3. RJ ... I guess they never bothered to tell you how they came to their decision ? Next week we are on Preziosa, on the roll call a woman and her daughter from the USA found out on the day they were due to fly to Paris that they had been moved which left them with no way of questioning the change.

Supposedly the others booked before me!

  4. MSC is totally Snafu in my Opinion! Had one of the Royal Suite's booked on the Seaside for February 2019 (Since last April) got a call this week that they double booked and I was odd man out! Downgraded me to a YC1 & gave me a $300 OBC, the only reason I originally booked that cruise was for the suite!

  5. You're correct Marco,,,Seaside's Royal suites are on deck 16,,which is odd considering the Royal suites on Divina are on the upper most deck of the YC, deck 16. Not sure why MSC chose to put them one deck down on Seaside,,,

    No pool deck noise,maybe.

  7. Dave ................ I know you're not particularly interested in Meraviglia, but have you seen deck 14 YC cabins. There are non-YC cabins next to them. I've been wondering how that will work? I guess I'll find out at the end of next week - just wanted to get your take on it.

    Sorry for the thread hi-jack.

Could be just those cabins if Yacht club is multi level & the lounge & restaurant are on those other decks, you would need room key or wrist band to access the common yacht club areas!

  8. It seems, by the last part of the video, that Yacht Club area will have two pools...The second one (not on front) appear with the buffet and a Yacht Club logo just above.

That would work for me ! [emoji106]🏻[emoji41]

  9. If you dont mind me asking where did they state drinks anywhere on ship for yacht club , i thought it was only in the Yacht club areas ?

I received a free ship wide drink package when I booked in the Yacht club during the initial release. Later they changed the offer to an onboard credit for the Yacht Club .

  10. The C-suite at Verizon had an all hands on deck meeting with Ken this week and informed him it was in poor taste to be on a cruise ship that lacked streaming connectivity. Therefore, he will be on the Freedom of the Seas next week leaving me to fend for myself with the likes of crickets and the yellow scarf cult!

  11. so you gave him the $5 tip before you tasted the extra glass of clear liquid that was delivered with a "wink wink"? just want to make sure I understand...

  12. Wish I could say everyone was nice and helpful but it is life. Sorry you had such a problem bartender/server. Yes I have also tipped and still not gotten what I thought should have been even close to good service but the water deal would have been a deal breaker also. My one question to you is, did you tip the servers themselves or leave it on your slip. After talking to one bartenders on my last cruise I always brought some up cash with me and tipped the bartender in cash and asked him/her who their best server was and made sure I would tip that person also. Since they work in teams usually I found that asking the bartender who their favorite server was it would help a little. Tipping on the bar slip only goes into a pool and even the lazy, slipping you water ones, get part of that tip. Hope your next cruise goes better.

I almost never order'd directly from the bar, I tried to use the same server for the day on the pool deck! No I did not tip with cash maybe that was a mistake! I also hope my next Carnival Cruise goes better we are on the Vista in the Havana area & have great hopes for a good time! I had prepurchased Cheers for that cruise as well but have since canceled, Ill pay as I go!!!:D
