Will be cruising on my first casino offer soon. It was "Getaway" with code P8V. Anyone know details about this that they can share? What should I expect? Cruising with hubby. Thanks for any help!

I tried to book it for my June cruise, but the cable car won't be working due to scheduled maintenance so they canceled my excursion. Looking for a similar without the cable car.

We second Big Tex. He was great. We also loved Mat Segun. We are in the minority because we did NOT like Dr. E at all. But I am very excited to be sailing with the Flying Scotsman in January on the Dream. May have a new favorite.
He just left and won't be back until February 11. This is a change from the previous schedule.

Anyone stayed in this cabin? What's next door? It looks like a non-numbered cabin. Is it a crew cabin or somethings else?

We are cruising on a very limited budget this time. What's inexpensive to do close to port?

Nope. I really wished they would bring them back.

I'm waiting for them to become available too. We will be celebrating our 30th anniversary with family and friends. Trying to decide best time to go. Probably end of June or July so more can bring their kiddos.

You're very welcome! And I thank the poster who originally posted the link. Glad we were all able to save some money [emoji4]!
Thank you! I missed it. Good to know. Much appreciated!

Use a recent copy of your brokerage form. Redact (black out) your account number and info on any other stock on it. I even redact the totals and value. They just need to see your name and that you own 100 shares of CCL. Write your booking number, ship and sail date on it. Fax to 305.406.6102 Mine always shows up within a few days. Remember, you have to print your "General Information" to see the OBC.

For those of you doing the AmEx... have you seen the credit yet? The fine print states "Offer valid only for reservations booked between 10/14/16 and 4/14/17..." Did you use it for paying an existing booking and receive the credit? Wondering if they won't honour it unless it is a new booking. I did book between those dates, but didn't book with this offer.

I'm doing the same thing for my hubby's 50th birthday. He'll find out we are going on a cruise 16 days later. I'm doing a scavenger hunt, and then a word and number scramble for the ship name and cabin number.

As of about 2 weeks ago...
While Carnival has not released information about the Carnival Dream's 2017 dry-dock, based on a recent press release the ship is scheduled to receive Guy's Pig & Anchor BBQ in 2017. It is highly likely the ship will receive this feature in dry-dock, but Carnival has not confirmed the exact timing of the Dream receiving this feature. At this time, no other information has been publicly released about the enhancements or work that will be completed during this dry-dock.

About the same to me. Deck 7 is better location but people could see in if you leave blinds open, and you don't have a direct oceanview. The oceanview would be slightly larger with a couch. I don't mind walking/climbing stairs, so would probably opt for the Oceanview.

I think the best way is to call guest services. They will contact the ship, and if the photos are still there (or returned by the current cruisers in the cabin), they will be mailed to your friend.

We had 2 closets, the one with the drawers and then another you can see in one of the other photos (with robes and life vests in it). My friend hung all her stuff up, and I used the drawers. We were fine, but also don't "overpack".
The safe was in a space above the desk, below the TV.
Our cabin did have a deadbolt.

My September cruise on Freedom was in a guarantee. We were assigned an interior handicap cabin. The cabin itself was about the same size. It only had 2 closets and no drawers at the desk (4 small ones in one of the 2 closets). There was no step up into the bathroom, and the door was wider. The shower was twice the size of a regular cabin shower, and there was a fold down shower chair and grab bars. The floor space was completely flat in order to accommodate a wheelchair if needed. I'll see if I can post a couple photos that I took.

Triumph in June was the latest we had ever disembarked - 11:30a. Usually we are off by 10:00a.
-
doconner - I think you can if they have it there at the cafe. I was on Triumph, and they had a limited number of alcohol bottles at the cafe. Just ask.
I also was able to get blended latte and mochachino too. Same price as iced. They'll also put whipped cream on it if you like that.
Redgrove - Not sure of the brand, but I thought it was good. I'm not a coffee snob though. :p
jeepers - I have heard they sometimes have a few free pastries at breakfast time. I usually forget about it though, so can't help you there.

From Triumph in June.

I was on the Triumph in June and had Cheers. When they came around with those shots in the Carnival glasses, they would tell me that I could just pay $5 for the glass and the shot would be 1 of my 15 cheers drinks.

Depends on what you want. I usually figure somewhere around $6 for beer, $10 fruity drinks, $13 alchemy bar.

@kelbell - Do you have the address? I don't see it on their site. Looks like they only email it after you book. I'm taking a group and we will have 4 cars to park. I need to show the location to them before booking. Will save the group a decent amount, especially if it really is just a walk across the street. Thanks!
