We had plenty of ‘Guests’ boarding in NYC on the 150th voyage in 2022 including some overnighters…. So many that they kicked us out of the dining room.  But they were Gus’ guests.  I doubt common folk,  like us, like us paying passengers are allowed guests.

What part of the dining room were you sitting in that you got kicked out. We were on that cruise and no one on the  upper deck was asked to leave.

Had a great tour to Gros Marne today. Tour guide was awesome in reading the weather and getting in the important sites in between clouds and the schedule.  We actually saw the sun for 3 or 4 hours, and just caught a couple showers driving to and from. To solve the mystery, we docked in Corner Brook. Here until 11pm.

The Captain, in the end, decided the seas were too rough last night, and called off the dance show, flopping the BBC from today to last night, and the dance show will be tonight. We have seen BBC, so no joy.

The Ocean Bar pianist is very good and quite the dresser. We listened to her at her 4pm set, then saw her in the hall heading to the Ocean Bar for her 5pm set. I can report at least 10 pax, male and female, suffered injured necks snapping their heads around and coming to a quick stop as she was walking by. It was straight out of a Mel Brooks movie. Even I said ( not exaggerating) " Dem's some boots", because I didn't want to get slapped by her, or the DW!

Exercising the drink plan. More tomorrow.

Was Cat wearing her pink boots???

  3. On the Zaandam April 4-18 cruise there was a 3, 4 & 5* cocktail reception in the Crow’s Nest with many officers in attendance. There was also a Medallion presentation in the Explorers Lounge this was also by invitation only. Both events were also held on April 18-29 segment.

Yes, we’re here!  Such beautiful weather, Pat has headed straight out to Total Wine!  This hotel seems very nice, Tony, thanks for the recommendation, we’ll see how breakfast is in the morning.  We have already booked a shuttle to the ship for 10 tomorrow morning, I think we’ll be waiting around for a while, but the next one is 11:30, and we want to board pdq…

We flew over Port Everglades, this is not very clear, but we could see it.   It’s real!

Thanks Bill and Maryann .. but unfortunately I followed the link and it did take me to your blog but when I clicked on the pictures link it still gave me the message that my request for access could not be sent. It’s so strange because I’m using the same email address and search engine I’ve always used to follow your travels. Grateful I have the narratives but really miss the pictures. Patrick☘️

I use my iPhone and don’t have any problems.
