  1. What are the best excursions you have done with toddlers on an Alaska cruise. We are happy to book private! Thanks!
  2. We are considering a DCL cruise this fall with our small children. Have not been able to find much information about cruising with small unvaxxed kids since the restart.
  3. Thanks for all the great responses! Definitely looking into the lumberjack show and Mendenhall Glacier nugget falls 2 mile hike for entertaining, affordable and easy excursions!
  4. We are looking at a May 2022 sailing on Ovation of the Seas with our two young sons (almost 3 and 5 at sailing). Has anyone cruised AK with kids this age on Ovation? We want to cruise Disney but can get connecting balconies on Ovation for less than an Oceanview on Disney! How are the kids clubs? Do they have open house times for under 3? Do they have a nursery for under 3? Do they have any family programming or activities geared for families? Any information on cruising Ovation with little kids and especially in AK is appreciated!!
  5. We are consider the May 16, 2022 sailing on the wonder to Alaska. We have been to AK twice pre-kids and loved it! A few questions about AK w/Disney and w/kids!1.) If you've sailed with young kids to AK, how did your kids do? They they find it interesting at all? Did they like excursions? What excursions did you do?2.) We have always taken a balcony cabin but the price on Disney is pretty high. I do feel it would be OK for my husband and I not to have a balcony but think we may need it with kids so we can still enjoy AK while kids are resting or taking some down time. What kind of cabin did you take with kids and what was your general experience?3.) Our youngest will be 1.5 month shy of 3. This is the most economical and best time for us to cruise because our oldest will be starting kindergarten in the fall so Sept. is out. Has anyone sent there almost 3 year old to the nursery? Did they have activities to keep a child of this age occupied? Thanks!

  7. Interesting that the Princess website does not say it is adults only. I hope they update that information to be accurate moving forward.
  8. We are considering an Alaskan cruise on the Majestic Princess in spring 2022. Our kids will be just under 3 and 5. Can anybody that has sailed this ship with children comment on the kids club (I know my youngest can't go), indoor pool, family activities, etc? Would love to see Patters or kids club programming materials. Does the kids club have any family open house time for littles? Thanks!
  9. Is the Hollywood Pool Club adults only? If so, do they open for families at certain hours on Alaska sailings? Thanks!
  10. We are planning to cruise May 2022 with our almost 3 and 5 year old boys. What family excursions have you done with littles that everyone enjoyed? We are likely cruising on Disney. Thanks!
  11. How old were your kids when you did Alaska? That is a high second choice for us!
  12. We are considering a 10 on NCL Getaway in May 2023 with an almost 3 and 5 yr old. Has anyone done any of these ports with little kids? We don’t expect to hit the major sites but would love to hit local parks and/or anything else kid friendly omfor tourists or locals! Thanks!
  13. Anyone done a Europe cruise with 3 & 5 year old on Norwegian? This would be our first Norwegian cruise and first Europe cruise with kids. Have cruised a lot but mainly on Princess and Celebrity. Our older son has been on 3 cruises (celebrity & Disney) and our youngest will be on first this January on Disney. My main concern is the availability of family activities in the evening and food quality and service levels compared to what we have experiences on Disney/Princess/Celebrity and Holland. Would love experience from someone that has cruised Norwegian in Europe with young kids. Thanks!
  14. We cruised with our first little boy at 9 months and it was a great age! We found the cruise line provides any finger type foods we asked for and our little guy spend most of the dinner diligently eating peas, carrots, blueberries, etc. We did bring our own formula, bottles and ouches of baby food but some lines do provide pouches. Washing bottles in the bathroom was a bit of a pain but we really enjoyed ourselves with him and found it MUCH easier than traveling with him on his second cruise at 18 months!
  15. Thanks! I see this now after doing some digging but think it is interesting they would have let me book online! :(
