  1. Today, I noticed that CCL stock is going up. I bought 100 shares, stock on April 8, 2020.

I am looking forward to cruising on the Royal Princess ship for December 14,2020.

I just put down a small deposit. Final payment due in Sept. 2020.

Princess cruise ships located in Seattle, Wa. will start cruising in July 2020 to Alaska.

Royal Princess will start cruising in October 2020, Calif. Coastal, and Mex-Riviera. LucyR.

  2. Hi Daytona Sailor, I used to hang out with the Hollywood crowd and I got to meet Desi Arnaz Jr. and his sister Luci Arnaz, many years ago at a Award Show.

You made me laugh, "Lucy..."Thanks for Splaining it to us Lucy". I got the kidding right away. LOL.

THANKS FOR THE LAUGHS on this Happy Day. Ricky Ricardo/Daytona sailor. Keep on sailing.

Lucy and Ricky Ricardo will always be remembered in my heart.

I have now started trying to get my wealthy friends to invest in Carnival stock.

The more the merrier on my favorite ship the Royal Princess ship.

There is time to buy affordable stock.

  3. Hello NinjaCATS, I have been cruising since the 1970's. I have seen the ups and downs about

cruising. I am like you that knows for a fact that many future cruises are being booked up.

I always book for December month. Last month I noticed that my favorite Balconies were

available and I didn't want to miss out of booking my favorite cabin. I decided to put a deposit

on two cruises for Dec. As soon as we are free to cruise again I plan to book two more cruises.

I chose to buy Carnival Stock because I am a big time cruiser. Some Cruisers love NCL or RCCL.

We CRUISERS have inside information that non-cruisers who just want to buy cruise stock don't know about the extra things we get as stockholders cruisers.

We cruisers are the ones that are going to keep our favorite ships floating.

It does help to have the millionaires and Billionaires also buying Carnival Stock.

Some of them are planning to become Trillionaires with their new investments

in all kinds of stock. Now is the time for gamblers to jump in and invest in stock.

  4. Hello Daytona Sailor, Yes, great buys on NCL & RCCL. NCL has a big time investor that saved it from sinking.  Must be a fan or just wanting to make mo money. lol.

RCCL has always been very popular with their fans.

I like Carnival stock because it has several cruise lines. My favorite ship is Royal Princess.

Hi TNcruising, I am really impressed that you chose to also buy Airline stock at the right time.

My favorite airline is Southwest. What about buying stock at hotels like the Hilton? Too late?

Hi PORT ROYAL, Thank you so much for the wonderful positive words filled with joy. Yes, it is all about Cruising on our favorite ships. Buying CCL stock is fun to have because it does give me joy to my heart that I am now a stockholder.  On my next cruise I will be bragging how I own shares.

I am just a gold fish in a tiny bowl of water. I know how to swim with the sharks. lol.

It does bring me joy when I see that more people are buying stock. It is a fun positive Gamble that is better than playing the slot machines or what ever.

Thank you all in staying positive and keeping our ships floating and Airplanes flying.

We need both to have fun cruising and traveling all over the world.  LUCYR.

  5. I wake up every morning to check up on my CCL Stock. I have plenty of time since

I am retired and having fun looking at the Stock Market.

Every day it is moving up little by little.

I would like to see more people buy stock. The time is now before it starts to go

up really high again. I am doing positive thinking. Please NO NAYSAYERS!

I only want to see good news or great news on CCL stock. LUCYR.

  6. Hello n6uggg, We cruisers have found loop holes in how to use our OBC credit. It is our secret but now it looks very public since you brought it up. We are told to not use obc for the Casino but sometimes there is nothing I want to buy on the ships so I use my obc at the Casino and cash out any money left over. Lets keep quiet about how we all use our OBC/onboardcredit.

    Lets change the subject.

I hope some of you who have not bought CCL stock are going to buy some. Now is the time to buy if you want a great deal. I have been told for many years by many CCL stockholders to buy stock. I bought stock on April 7th and every morning I look forward to seeing it going up. Brings me joy since I love cruising on the Royal Princess ship. I am just waiting for the GOV. to give us Americans permission to cruise again.  I have already booked two cruises for December. I plan to book two more this year of 2020 if possible. HAPPY DAYS OF CRUISING WILL BE HERE SOON. YEA! LUCYR.

  7. I enjoy going to YOUTUBE to listen to the so called experts on Carnival stock and other stocks.

I also pay attention to the POSITIVE NEWS. I have noticed how some investors love NCL, RCL, etc. They are financially helping the cruise lines to not go belly up. Plus, yesterday I heard the news that China airlines were open to take home their people back to China. That is POSITIVE NEWS.  Plus S. Arabia investing in Carnival. Those were clues for me to jump in and buy. I do depend on my Intuition and not really on the stock market advice. I had a feeling that I would be left out if I didn't buy stock yesterday.

This is a great opportunity for making money in the stock market if we are willing to take a risk.

I had been hoping to book cheapy cruises like I did many years ago when Mexico had the Swine Flu. I cruised over and over on Carnival ships.

There are many of us who have bought cruises and are just waiting for the word "GO, GO, GO.

We are the ones who know how to TRUST in Carnival. I have bought for DEC. two cruises.

My two close friends have also bought cruises for this year and next year on CCL.

I truly believe that SOON within a few months we will start cruising again. LUCYR. 80yrs old.

  8. Thank you all for your POSITIVE WORDS! Yesterday April 7, 2020, It  became my freedom day from my controlling adult son who was NOT willing to help me buy Carnival stock.

I am an 80 yr.old lady senior that has chosen to pay a few dollars or more to get some Geek tech helper to help me with buying stock, learning to use zoom, need to install Roku on my t.v. and ask for tech help until I learn how to do Tecky stuff on my own. Yea... just sayin...lol

I have noticed some of you asking for advise and help on how to buy stock because you are

new at buying stock.  The information you have to do is very personal so if you are willing to

pay a small fee for help from a Investment company of your choice then you can get some real help from that company of your choice. I chose to just call Fidelity Investments and I was able to buy Carnival stock with their help. I really needed their help. I am not teck savey at all.

Last week I could have bought at 8 dollars a share. Yesterday, I said to myself that I just had to  JUMP IN AND BUY THE STOCK. I let go of my fears, it was scary. It is a gamble that I was taking.  But it has always been on my bucket list for many years when I used to be a poor teenager and wished I had the money to buy stock. I do have some money now to BLOW! I love cruising and the Cruise lines have given me many fun times and gifts of obc and free bottles of wine, liquor. etc.

I am now spending my son's inheritance since he chose to not visit me much. I plan to leave my stock and money for my adult grandchildren. They both love to cruise.

It feels great to look at how Carnival stock is slowly moving up in value.

A friend of mine who is a stock holder told me recently that my favorite Ship the ROYAL PRINCESS Ship still has all of their crew workers on the ship ready to cruise when

it is safe to cruise. She said that the crew are having lots of parties and acting like passengers.

They send her videos of what they are doing on the ship.

I have been with cruisecritic for many years now and I have been reading what you all have been

discussing. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT. LUCYR.

  9. Hi Everybody! Thank you ALL for your positive words on me becoming a shareholder 80 yrs.old.

My adult son was born with a mean personality. He bragged about how he was a stock holder.

But, not willing to help because I wanted to buy Carnival stock. He has a controlling personality.

I have decided  to blow my money on people who can help me with whatever I need to have done in my life. I plan to spend it on me before I die. For many years I would try to make my only son happy. But now I can see that it is time for old senior me to make ME HAPPY.

I sent him an E-MAIL bragging how I was able to buy Carnival stock. Plus, I said I was thinking of buying more Stock or whatever interests me. I threw it in his face. I have been doing great all by myself saving money and investing my money for many years. Like some people say, "I am very comfortable". I already have two cruises B to Back on the Royal Princess ship for the month of

December. I will be getting $250. of OBC. Plus, I also chose Option 1, for Princess to save my cruise money for a future cruise. They plan to give me some extra OBC money for letting them save my money. I am now a Gambler like my TEXAS ancestors and present relatives and friends.

I have two friends that own Carnival stock for many years now. They will give me the form needed for when I go on my next cruise. I will need to submit it. They will teach me what needs to be done. YEAH! I am so happy to be here with all of you. Just sayin.... lol.

  10. I am 80 yrs.old and I have always wanted to buy stock just to have it. My Adult son didn't want to help me buy Carnival stock last week for $8. per share. So today I decided to ask for help from Fidelity Investments. I went on-line first and then when I needed to transfer money from my checking acct to the Fidelity acct. I chose to call and pay a Fee for HELP. A very nice Lady helped me to buy 100 shares of Carnival stock. I am glad I asked for help because I am not tech savey.

I have been cruising since I was in my 30's. Now that I am a senior I have the money to invest on Carnival Stock. I am not looking to make more money but to become a stock holder.

It is a super high risk but I am willing to GAMBLE and win or loss. I see it as an investment to help the cruise lines that have given me so much joy and improvement in my life. That is my main goal to invest in their future.  I come from a family of gamblers since the 1800's when a great uncle got shot playing cards in a Texas Saloon. Many of my relatives are Gambling Addicts.

I am a CRUISE ADDICT.  I cried tears of joy when I finally accomplished my goal of buying stock. Part of my Bucket list. YEAH!

  11. I agree with Gaprofitt that most likely she jumped instead of falling off the ship. The proof is in the ship's video. The bad part is that she jumped late at night when her husband was sleeping.

A lot of night time hours had passed before the search got started. The ocean currents can take a person far from the ship.

They went back to the area where she either jumped or fell.

One of the cruisers said it was very windy during the search.

So I wonder....if it was also windy during the night too.

The ships never say a person jumped because it feels really bad for the relatives to think that the people jumped on purpose.

I wonder if they showed the video of the wife going over board to the husband. I do also believe that people can be blown away from the ship by a very strong wind. Many ships do tape off a dangerous windy area so passengers can stay safe. I had a friend once go under the tape with a friend. I told her later that she needs to not do it again since it is very dangerous. I myself have walked around a deck where the winds were super dangerous and there was no yellow tape to stop me. I do know of one lady that was blown away from a deck by the strong winds.

  12. Hello Snowblower, I went to check and you are RIGHT. Some of the other Princess ships are Vancouver to Whittier. I tried to fix what I wrote. I will try again to fix my post. I read that the ROYAL left on May 11th. I also read on the news that all the cruisers were from the Royal ship. Thank you for your information.

I am in shock with two planes from the same company crashing. I was on the Royal ship on April 13th. The Royal has wifi in all of their cabins. Most passengers chose to insert their Medallion wifi into their cell phones or computers. I paid to have wifi installed into my computer where I could stay in touch with facebook relatives and friends. I think when the passengers arrive in Juneau they will be able to receive calls on their cell phones. Juneau is an American port so Americans will be able to contact the cruisers. The ROYAL is the only ship that is cruising from Vancouver. The other Princess ships are cruising out of Seattle to Seattle. Most relatives hardly ever know the name of the ship. They will only say they went on a Princess ship. Ask if they left out of Seattle. If they say "yes".... then you know they are safe. I think tomorrow we will be getting reports from the Cruise-Critic members that are at the  Ketchikan Hospital that survived the airplane crash. I have been a cruise-critic member for many years and we are the first to find out more detail information from our members than from the News people who are getting second hand reports. We will learn more on what really happened with the planes crashing.

I am wrong on the other Princess ships. They also cruise from Vancouver to Whittier/An.

  14. A single friend who was cruising solo decided to not use her Medallion so she put it in her safe.

She didn't like how her cabin door opened up 4 cabins away from her and she is a very slow walker. She felt it wasn't safe if there are lots of people walking in the hallway and some one sneaks into her cabin for some reason. I plan to do the same because I don't want to be followed like Big Brother is watching me. The book "1984". I have cruised 150 times on 7 different cruise lines and I have never had any problems. I am hoping this is my last cruise in April 13th because I am tired of cruising. I am going because I am already paid up. I am now an old senior who prefers to travel on land only in USA and Canada.

  15. My message is for AQUAHOUND: I came back to read what other people had to say about the Murder on the Emerald Princess since I was on that ship.

This is more information for you since you are really interested in what I learned and saw that evening of the murder.

It was around 9 p.m. when I heard that medical and security was needed at deck 9 at cabin # 720. I was with friends when I decided to go investigate. I noticed that there were approx. three of the Captain's men looking into the cabin. I saw a yellow caution strip.

I did notice a security guard that was late to get to the cabin. He must have been the HAL security guard that was called.

The next day I heard that the bloody rug was being replaced in the cabin. We all thought about the next cruiser that would be in that cabin next and get the bad vibes.

I met a couple who told us that they went to see the Murder Mystery show and they told me that the actors were surprised to hear the Captain calling for security and medical. The people thought it was part of the SHOW. The show went on while a real murder was taking place.

The fake story that the cabin door was broken by the relatives is a lie because the door was open so a mystery man was the one who saved the man from jumping from the ship.

The main witness to the murder was their 8 yr.old daughter that ran out of the cabin to knock on doors to get help.

The cruisers that had cabins near by and heard the screams from the cabin and the child running to get help were the ones that did get tramatized. They have chosen to stay quiet. I heard that 200 people were interviewed by the FBI. I guess they were told to stay quiet about what happened.

I want to add that all the crew workers were told what happened and also told to not tell the customers of what really happened.

I tried to get information from them. One of them did tell me that he thought the man was approx. 60 yrs. old. His wife was much younger. I chose to not ask any more questions of them out of respect for them.

I think that the Emerald Princess was totally unprepared for a murder to take place on their ship because first of all they did make a serious mistake to inform all the cruisers of the location of the emergency problem. I thought there were going to be a lot of Looky Loos wanting to see what the problem was but I was the only one that was interested on what was really going on.

I did have lunch with the Captain and his men a few days later after the murder took place. It was a luncheon for Elite members who cruised a lot.

I think there were 30 Elite members. None of us talked about the Murder. I felt so sorry for the Captain. My friend and I hugged the Captain when we took a photo with him. I think the Captain was tramatized too because no Captain wants something bad to happen on THEIR SHIP.

Some people did say it was like Murder on the Orient Express train. It was a cruise to remember. There were many first time cruisers that did have a wonderful time on the ship.

  16. Hi Aquahound, I was hoping that different cruise critic members would come here to report what they learned on the ship of what happened on the murder case. I had written down notes to report here at cruise critic but what I had written was made known as public information by the News. So I chose to write about information that has not been made public info.

I thought that the man had killed his wife by slamming her head on the steel wall in their cabin. I don't know if this was made public but her final words were "You are going to kill meee....". I am guessing that by saying those words she felt she was going to die if he kept hitting her.

Some people were making up stories on how she got killed.

There were many cruisers that felt truly bad and sad for the children and family members. They wanted to cry with sadness I noticed.

  17. I was on the Emerald Princess ship when I heard the announcement about needing medical and security. The deck and cabin number was stated. Since I am a long time member of cruise critic I decided to go investigate the situation. I noticed there was a yellow strip on the door and several Captain men were there looking into the cabin. I decided to walk away as I saw a security man walking towards the cabin.

Then I noticed a young man walking away from the area. He told me his grandmother's balcony was located above the couple's balcony. He told me that the husband was trying to jump from the balcony into the ocean. The people on deck 10 kept telling the man to not jump. Meanwhile a man ran to grab him away from the rail and was able to save his life.

A friend of mine was in her cabin near by and she told me that she will never forget the little girl screaming for help by knocking on doors to get help for her mother. My friend was tramatised by the violence that took place that night. So were some of the other witnesses.

Many of the cabin cruisers located in that area were interviewed by the FBI. The murder happened on deck 9 and the people in the deck 8 and deck 10 were interviewed and asked what they saw or heard about the incident. My friend was also interviewed.

A cruiser told me that the woman that got murdered was a karaoke singer finalist and was supposed to be part of 8 finalists to compete against each other. But she never got there to compete. The cruiser gal said that it was sad and felt it was bad luck for the cruiser gal's husband who later injured his arm. The cruiser gal said that the number 7 brought them bad luck. I thought that was a strange comment.

My final words are that ..yes.... there were some cruisers that did get tramatized from the violence of the murder.

A lot of the cruisers were getting phone calls from their family members who were concerned for their cruiser family members. There were a lot of first time cruisers who had never cruised before and they were really excited on being on a cruise to Alaska. Most of the new cruisers did the best they could to see as much as they could of Alaska by taking as many tours as they could. Most of them stayed positive because they were having lots of fun hanging out with their family members. Lots of the cruisers were in super large groups. I was part of a Singles group that had 300 cruisers. They all had a great time.

I have never had the experience of being on a ship where a murder took place. I would tell the new cruisers that I had been cruising since 1973 and had cruised for more than a hundred cruises on 7 different cruise lines and had never had that experience of a violent murder taking place.

  18. Hi Every Body! I prefer to cruise out of Seattle to Seattle because it is our American country and this advise is for Americans because times have changed and now many airports are being very careful and I am sure that Canada/Vancouver is also being very careful. It creates long lines of people. Last time I departed on a plane from Vancouver.... I was harrassed by a customs officer as I am sitting in a wheel chair being taken to the Delta airline gate. I was being pushed by a Delta employee. I finally said to the customs man that he could look at my Delta plane ticket that I was going back home to Los Angeles, Calif. I had just gotten off a CRUISE SHIP and was flying home on the same day. TIMES HAVE CHANGED.

I have cruised 5 times to Alaska on different cruise ships. All the ships are wonderful.

You must go to Glacier Bay because you will save $220. by not having to take a small boat to see the Glaciers because Tracey Arm F. YOU don't get to see any Glaciers. You have to pay to see them.

Visiting Victoria B.C. is a wonderful experience to see that port too.

Presently, I am cruising to Alaska on the Emerald Princess ship on July 23rd, 2017. Next month. lol.

I noticed the balconies are presently selling for $1,500. per person plus $220. for taxes, fees, etc.

I AM SINGLE SO I AM CRUISING WITH A SINGLES GROUP. I just need to be with other single people.

My advise is to choose the BEST DEAL ON ANY SHIP. Cheaper to also depart from Seattle RT. LucyR.

  19. I have cruised several times to Alaska on Princess, Celebrity, NCL and Carnival.

I do want to cruise again this year. What is more important to me is how much time will be spent at each

port. Some cruise lines have more time spent in some ports and that is very important to look at when

    cruising to ALASKA.

My advise is to also look for how long you will be in port and if the time is compatiable with what type of tour you want to take.

You must also consider the weather. It is sometime rainy in some ports. I remember meeting people who went on a canoe ride in the rain and got cold and wet. That was a wasted tour. The ship does tell you what the weather will be like in each port.

I enjoy visiting Victoria B.C. as part of my Alaska cruise port. If the ship stops at night time that is a waste for me since I enjoy shopping at the Centre Mall during their open hours. Remember that I will be shopping for Canadian products that are not selling in my country of America. Some people may laugh at me for wanting to shop in Canada but it is important to me.

My advise is to look at what is most important to you and your husband. LucyR,

  20. I was cruising SOLO on the Ruby Princess and I always lock my bathroom door when I take a shower because I saw the movie "PSYCHO" many years ago. It is not necessary to lock my bathroom door because the cabin door is locked.

I took a shower at 3 p.m. and had locked the bathroom door. When I finished I wasn't able to unlock the door because it was kind of loose and would not open. I screamed for help and I banged the door with the metal trash can. But no one could hear me because my cabin was located way in the front of the ship and no body was around to hear me scream for help. My cabin neighbors were not around either.

There is NO Phone in the bathroom since it was not a hadicapped cabin.

I didn't have any tools to un-screw the screws. Plus, I had put the sign on my door to not disturb by my cabin steward. So I knew I was in trouble.

I kept trying and trying to unlock the bath room door until all of a sudden it did opened up.

I told my cabin steward about the problem. But when he checked it he said it was okay. I do know that there was something wrong with the lock because it would turn all around when I would try to open it myself when I was locked up. I had tried to open it in many different ways. So it is strange how it would not open for me until all of a sudden it opened up. It is a mystery for me. After my bad experience I decided to never lock the bathroom door again. I put some duck tape on the bathroom lock so I would NOT lock myself in the bathroom again by mistake.

What I have learned is to never lock my bathroom door on any cruise ship when I am cruising SOLO. I also learned to NEVER book a cabin that is too isolated where people can't hear me scream for help. I was on Emerald deck E226. Maybe the cabin is haunted. lol.

I plan to book a cabin near where lots of people have to walk by to get to their cabins. They will be able to hear me SCREAM for HELP.
