All the positive reviews today are making me feel much better about sailing a smaller ship :) (only sailed Freedom before)
-
We sail vision in November, thanks for sharing the review, sounds great :)

Thanks for posting this question OP, hubby had been suggesting we should look at this package rather than just soda and I wasn't convinced, having seen the list above I am now pushing very much towards booking this package, you did a good job for RCL and parting me with my money to them ;)
I assume these drinks would be available on the Vision?
-
Well I don't blame you! I would have jumped on that too ;)
-
I just wanted to thank you again for sharing this review, you have me much more excited for our trip in November now.
-
I will be looking out for your review too Hoopster, we've got 8527 booked on Vision for this November.
-
Thanks for keeping doing this, I am really enjoying it.

Just wanted to thank the op for posting the question, and all the others for replies. We are looking at an Alaskan cruise in 2017 (I know still far away) and seeing whales is my top priority, I know wildlife in general is mentioned, but is there a 'prime' time for seeing whales? I understand nothing is guaranteed.

Thanks for taking the time, loving the review so far, we are sailing this itinerary on Vision in November, only our second cruise and the last was on Freedom, so interested to see all your information and details :)

I very highly doubt it. I don´t think the Website will communicate with their booking Software to recognize a C&A number has been linked to the Reservation. While I can´t tell for sure, I would not rely on this being sufficient.
I wondered as much, I will give the crown and anchor helpline a call tomorrow
-
We booked through a TA and they forwarded on to us a copy of the Confirmation Invoice from RCI. On that was a 6 digit reservation ID.
I logged into my C&A account online and linked the reservation myself, although our TA did take both our C&A membership numbers when making the booking.
If you haven't got it, I would see if your TA can provide you with the reservation ID and just link it yourself.
I've got the 6 digit reference and I've added it to my crown and anchor society online. Should that be sufficient?

Hi
It's been a while, cruised for the first time in 2012 on Freedom, I've just booked Vision for this November out of Tampa. When I booked online last night, there was no option to enter crown and anchor details on the cruise 1st website. Called today and they advised they've taken the option to add them off because it's been messing with cruise pricing :/ And that I should add it once I've boarded the ship.
I'm new to this, but surely I want the booking linked to my crown and anchor before I go?

oooo, that'll be fun for us! ok, someone asked us then...do they have to have connecting staterooms to open the divider between balconies? Say two couples have adjacent staterooms but are not connecting staterooms - can they on Freedom of the Seas connect the baloncies?
Yes they can, we did this on our 2012 cruise, we had adjacent but not connecting rooms :)

Out of interest, I just had a quick look on one of the well known US sites, and it is showing as $300 cheaper than RCI UK website :/ does anyone know what extras I would be likely to add to the cost they're showing online? (Other than gratuities etc which I would have to pay here) I am seriously tempted at the price it's showing. I might have to give them a call on Tuesday...

To OP : No need to call RCCL C&A Department as you can look it up on the website. Here's the link https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/cas/associate/forgotMembershipId.do
Perfect thanks!! :)

Thanks guys I will give them a shout in the week :)

Hi,
We took our first RCCL cruise in November 2011 on the Freedom of the Seas for a week, joined Crown and Anchor afterwards but apparently have completely lost my paperwork they sent me :o
I'm considering booking Navigator of the Seas for next October out of Galveston, but obviously want to register that we are members, will I be able to get the info by calling up customer service? Price is currently £768 for the 2 of us in a promenade room which seems reasonable?

Love the red hair, and the vibrant dress colours!
-
Yet more beautiful dresses! Love them :)
-
More beautiful dresses ladies :)
I too am suffering from the bad influence of you guys making me buy frocks ;) Will try to get pictures up soon (if possible)
-
More beautiful dresses everyone :)
I bought another one for our November cruise a couple of weeks ago, but I left in at my parent's house as I was travelling by train, if I can get a picture taken I will post it in the next week or so, but I am very happy with it, full length aubergine chiffon, and reduced from $300 to $75 :D
-
I'll be there from Nov 11 - Nov 15th! We should meet and have a drink! (I'm staying at the Beach Club - right by Epcot!)
We're going to be in WDW those dates too, I will be looking out for the awesome trip report writer :)
Boot Camp sounds painful, I work out with a P/T and I'm not sure I would be wanting to pay for that kind of pain on holiday :D
-
Yay! Thank you soooo much for posting this review. We are going on our first ever cruise this November, the Thanksgiving Eastern Caribbean cruise on Freedom, I am loving all the detail and pictures, and can't wait to read more :)
We have experienced the BTG's in WDW several times, they are *very* frustrating

Gorgeous dresses as always Porthopper, you will look fabulous!
Any one order a romance package before?
in Royal Caribbean International

Can't for the life of me remember what it was called, but we ordered my parents a package for there 40th wedding anniversary on our 2012 cruise. They loved it, it was worth every penny :)
Got a picture frame and pictures, canapes and champagne and breakfast in bed. Possibly something else too but it escapes me now...
