I would not book a cabin below the oceanview cafe again. We stayed in 2219 on Reflection (S2) and had terrible noise during day and night. We heard carts rolling, chairs and tables being moved for cleaning at 3 am. Maybe it is better under the carpet area... ?

Complaining didn't really help during our cruise – the Future Cruise Credit was nice but not worth the hassle.

Traditional German. I am pretty sure that you cannot find that on any cruise line. I want Bavarian style roast goose!

You can find traditional german brewhouses on many AIDA Ships. They even have a brewery onboard :beer-mug:

Looking in the other direction, a view of the convention centre with the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel behind it. There must be great views from those upper floor rooms.

 

Yes, the views are great. The Radisson Blu Waterfront is our favorite Hotel whenever we stay in Stockholm.

Maybe this has been mentioned before, but this is the perfect thread for Newbies to understand why cruising is one of the most relaxing ways to travel, imho.

Are you serious? Do you compare terrorist acts with what has been happening in Cologne?

From West Harbour it is about half a mile to walk to the tram station.

Tram 9 leaves every 8 minutes and takes you to the central station...

New Bar, new Drinks (with less expensive ingredients). An all Ships. Thats what we have been told. I think the premium Package killed the Molecular Bar...

...just returned from a wonderful cruise on the equinox. A staff member told us, that they will replace the Molecular Bar by a new Bar in 3 Months from now. Anyone heard the same?

 

Guests who are confirmed for main or late seating will not be impacted. Guests dining in Blu will also not be affected.

So I assume that guests with select dining will be affected?

We are sailing in 3 weeks and would like to know before we cruise how our dinner at MDR will be affected!
