By comparison, Princess has a very generous move over program. I answer those e-mails immediately.
I completely agree . Princess often overbooks but offers ever increasing benefits for those who accept these "Move Over" offers until resolved. Cunard as part of Carnival Corp should do the same?

OP's questions could have been easily answered by a Good TA so I assume they booked Direct with Cunard?
It is not too late to transfer this booking to a Good TA and not only have all concerns answered but additional discount/OBC/amenities applied.
Also watch for better Cunard Sales during the year. US bookings may be canceled and deposits moved to a new booking anytime prior to final payment.

You reserve the Planetarium shows using your onboard Cunard App.
Shows are repeated but still book up early in the sailing.
You can line up at the door for no shows which are quite common.

They will increase the offer until they get enough guests willing to accept the offer.
Hang in there if offer is not for you.

OP is asking for just the Spa Pass for 7 days.
Last year we paid $199p/p for the week but I have seen better and worse charges
posted here. Since it is a concession running the Spa they seem to charge what they wish based on popularity of the pass.
We would loke to know what guests are currently paying also as we have a TA coming up.

How recent were the reviews?
It's not something we had time to use, but I understood it had a major refurbishment in November. The specialist company that treated the stainless steel central whirlpool section posted several videos.
Where can we find those videos?

Just by the few questions ,OP could really use the help of a Good TA .
Costs you nothing.
US TA's may also offer their own discounted Cunard rates and amenities.
See for yourself .Compare booking Direct with Cunard and TA's .

**Assistance Requirements**
In the unlikely event of an emergency, it is important we have sufficient and
specific support for guests who require additional assistance, and we have
advance notice of this. Please read the following declaration of assistance
needs for your voyage, even if you are travelling with someone who can support
you. Guests who are unable to get to their assembly stations independently
(which could involve several flights of stairs as lifts will not be available)
due to a disability, health, or mental capacity must be pre-registered for
assistance to ensure we have sufficient support. Failure to provide this could
result in being denied boarding at your own expense. If you do require
assistance using the below statements, please advise us of the level of
assistance required.
*Someone to guide and steady me on the stairs (121 assistance) For anyone
bringing a mobility aid this is a recommended minimum requirement.
*I'm unable to use stairs (emergency evacuation chair) For anyone who is a full
/part time wheelchair or mobility scooter user this is a mandatory requirement.- 1

It is not that difficult to meet the minimum dress requirements to access all public areas of the ship on Formal nights after 6pm,
Men dark suit , women nice dress. Collared shirt , jacket not required on Smart Casual.
It is all there on th Cunard website.
Going on our 18th Cunard sailing meeting minimum requirements, and not feeling out of place.

Self help disembarking @ Brooklyn requires 1 hand free on the escalator (enforced) or you have to use the elevator which may crowded.

On a rainey day in Halifax , the QM2 had umbrellas available for all at the gangway.

You really can't become a TA just for yourself.
You would have to become a independent contractor for
an agency which will require fees and training ,to be able to book yourself and others.
Production is the name of the game.
Booking just yourself you will not last long.
Just find a TA that will rebate some comm. to you for giving them your business.

Can smart attire be a polo shirt and nice slacks ? Can a black suit be okay for a gala evening or should it be a tux ? Thank You for your patience . Was on QE2 so haven't been in a while.

At the time I was on it, November/December of ‘22 it was the smallest thermal pool compared to other ship spas I’ve used.
Chart room princess posted a picture above, that’s what it looked like when I was in it.That is the photo of the QM2 Thermal Pool.
What ships have a larger one ?

I love thermal spas but after purchasing a pass for my entire cruise last year I wouldn’t do QM2’s again. One or two visits were plenty; it’s small, there are no exterior windows, and it was just a bit lacking somehow.
I did have great experiences with a massage and salon services!Small? It is the largest Thermal Pool on any ship that I have ever sailed ore inspected?

Another case where a TA could have taken care of your cancelation without you hanging on a phone call to get a Rep..
-
The newest midsize ship ( becoming rare) within our budget would be our preference.

Speaking of OBC - oftentimes, travel agents have access to OBC because their agency books blocks in advance. Is there ever an advantage to using a TA with Cunard?
For US Bookings :
Most always a Good TA can give you OBC's , Amenities , lower Deposits and Group Rates
unavailable to those booking Direct. Why some people don't bother to compare before booking Direct is beyond me?

-
No OBC or other amenities on this sale,
just real good discounted cruise rates on all categories.
Counting on our OBC’s from Group Rste , TA.Shareholder and Military benefits .
-
On the day of the massage the thermal pool is free otherwise you can book a Spa Pass for specific number of days.
Large pool with hot tub and other facilities . Postings indicate Spa Pass price varies sailing to sailing.

When I was a TA booking only cruises , I would have flipped head over heels if someone offered to transfer their World Cruise booking to me .
Could thank them with lots of OBC/Amenities .
If you don't at least inquire about what the TA can offer on any Cunard booking , you are
cheating yourself.

For us , the Transatlantic aboard the QM2 is the Destination.
Booked on the 8/23/24 Crossing NYC to Southampton , then jumping aboard a plane
back home to Tampa. Crazy huh?

About That "Upgrades On Us" Offer
in Cunard Line

Answer:
TA most likely will not contact you about a lower rate for your booking but should have no problem rebooking you but with perhaps less TA Goodies .
