I finally got through, someone picked up after 6pm, after being on hold since 9am.  The person was Micah and she is excellent!   Trying to my Casino offer straightened out, will see if it happens, been working on it since November.  Appreciate your providing another phone number Antmaril.

I have been hold for over2- 6 hrs since last week trying to reach a live person in Casino Dept to book a cruise and add items to an existing cruise.  Calling 888-772-6697.  Any help would be appreciated.  Told by chat need to call.  Until now never had a problem reaching them.

Haven’t been able to reach anyone in Casino Dept ph number on offers since last Thursday, weird?  I have tried new booking, previous booking, Casino Certificate, just on hold for hours!
 

Similarly Casino Dept agent transferred me to something like this trying to sell me this plus time share like offer also.  

Any word on if proof of vaccinations will be required for upcoming Alaska season?  Assume will still need to do the ArriveCAN app.  
Agree with everyone on not making an early flight.  Pre-COVID we booked no earlier than a 2pm flight on west coast and that gave us about an hour before our flight boarded and we felt rushed.  We took the train to airport.
 

Would you mind sharing what room type you are in, Suite, mini suite, balcony, window or inside? 
Finally  after 5 cruises won $100 in the entry drawing on the last day and $25, we had a bunch of entries, had a mini suite.

Not to start anything, but please change with the times and don’t judge anyone.  Sometimes unforeseen circumstances do happen to .  Lost or stolen luggage that will never show, or other issues and would prefer dining room to buffet, let them in.  Some do not want to check luggage, carry on size can be very small for some small  planes.   We are able to do the tux, choosing to leave it at home, spouse can wear a gown or cocktail dress if so chooses.  Many years ago we dined with people on a formal night who’s luggage did not arrive and the Captain let them dine with us at his table in the dining room in shorts and t’s, we had a great time and it didn’t bother anyone.  I would never not sit with anyone because of not choosing to dress to the “evening code”.   Even the luxury lines have casual attire and some require formal wear.  Land vacations/resorts/hotels are also changing not just the cruise industry.  

Congrats!  I was in piazza on 3 different cruises this year and I did not get picked, probably luck of draw opening door.  I have played 3 times now, nothing.

VMAX1700, Actually it was a good thing I did not have any info inside.  Only luggage tag had name and phone number.     

My luggage was stolen before I could get down to baggage, it was off the carousel in less than 2 minutes after deplaning.  No way I could have or anyone getting off a plane could made that fast.  Every airport has Port Security Officers.  You need to see one to file a claim.   Remember, you need receipts and photos for anything you want to claim including your luggage and photos.  $3500 is max that airlines can pay and it’s up to the airline what they will accept and that’s including the bags.  I had purchased the top tier HAL cruise  insurance and was surprised when I called and they don’t cover stolen only missing luggage.  
Thank you, I did handle it well, not much you can do, but start shopping.  People who have been through natural disasters suffer much worse in most cases,  not only clothes and personal items, sometimes everything.  
I never thought this could happen, always will be prepared now.

My luggage was stolen earlier this year in Seattle, arrived day of cruise, had the top HAL insurance (Allianz), when I called they do not cover stolen luggage.  I travel to fit in, not stand out, my luggage was not anything special.

Delta refused to offer me an over night kit or any compensation at the airport, even to the Police Officer who asked on my behalf.

I went on a cruise with basically nothing as was told I had to check my carryon.   HAL Zuiderdam Guest Services were wonderful and gave me an overnight kit and tee shirts and  shorts (Alaska cruise) then I went shopping.  So happy I was able to buy most of what I needed onboard, I love HAL shops and was able to wash clothes with the liquid soap.  Having Club Orange I believed helped a little too.  I now travel with Apple Air Tags.  On a recent trip, prior to pulling away from gate on plane, my carry on showed in belly (had to check again, different airline), checked bag showed still at airport leaving from.  When I got to my destination after arriving at the gate it showed it was with me on the plane.  Best place to buy luggage if on Alaska cruise, take a cab in Juneau about $180.00, to Fred Meyer and Costco.

I fortunately save receipts and had photo of luggage so was able to get some compensation, but hope to never go through the hassle again.  Airline handled the claim.

Enjoy the cruise and thanks for posting, I hope it is a fun cruise.  I was hoping to take this cruise, but sold out before I could book.  After watching the Real Love Boat episode last week; I realized their is no way I would ever know Jill Whelan if I were to see her in person , same with other original cast members.  They have changed so much, in a good way.  Jill Whelan is such a good Ambassador for Princess.

Just back from Loreto and as soon as off the tender, flies, flying bugs, mosquitos everywhere.    Many people got a lot of bites, even at beaches.  The horseback ride was awful as well as the bugs.

Anyone on Dolphin deck beware of water leaks and moldy carpet in and outside the rooms and no heat/air..  we were in the 450-622 area.
The crew was amazing and tried hard even though most were new.  The pools were warm, first time in many years, very much appreciated.  We did have brown muddy water coming down in buffet one night.  Had a great Captain.  Soft serve ice cream was broke whole cruise, but really liked the ice cream they did serve.  We had an incredible storm one night in middle of night and could smell something burning, but ship was ok, was up viewing the storm.  We had a cool double rainbow on port side before we left LaPaz after that storm.

Could it be the aft pool?  We had this issue on a Princess ship and was the aft pool.  They sent Engineers to our cabin and shut the pool off at 11pm, turned back on at 9am.    Definitely contact Concierges and have someone come into your room to hear it.

Recently took horseback ride in Loreto, as a cruise ship excursion, would not recommend.  Horses not taken care of, mine was constantly stumbling, said had a recent injury. Concerned horse was going to go down.  

A few horses unrideable.  Lots of bugs and a few people got mosquito bites.  Would not give refunds.  Got brushed with cactus.  Beach part not good.    Would like to hear if anyone has taken the canyon hikes.

T8t8t8, I’m ahead of you, Cabo is a no go for fishing  Monday or Tuesday as a large tournament with all boats in tournament both days, know people in tournament, no charters available either day.  I was hoping to be on a friends boat or a charter that other friends are on or charter one myself.

La Paz and Loreto friends recommendation, no.  Puerto Vallarta I would not want to fish here.  Love deep sea fishing.  On you on the roll call?
