I got my hooded, packable down jacket from Decathlon - they may have some longer length ones too

Wife went back to the room to nap, and insisted I take the kids around the ship for a tour. I wanted a nap too, but I was told tough.
I like your wife already!;p

Thanks for posting, I really enjoyed your review. It sounds like my kind of trip - plenty of good food & relaxed wandering round Greek islands. We haven't been to Greece for a few years, but now I'm seriously wanting to go back there soon.
Thanks again, you managed to get some beautiful pictures.

Coconuts was the best meal we ate in Fort Lauderdale
It's on the Intracoastal waterway & you can sit out on the deck over looking the water.

Ha! That is funny. We DO all wear flip flops! Okay, at least I do. Want to trade? I'd love to up and move to Ireland or England at a moments notice. One can dream... :o
Oh, please! I'm sooo fed up of the rain. :)

I've come late to reading your review, but thanks for taking the time to do it.
It's always interesting to see your home country through the eyes of others; I loved your enthusiasm for our quaint little ways
(aside: I suspect if I ever came to California I'd be all "Wow! how cute, they're all wearing flip flops!" :p)
Glad you enjoyed it, hope you get to visit us again someday.

I'd tell you but it keeps changing. Yesterday it was 47, today it seems to be 46. I just can't work out what's going on.........
First cruise in 6 years - what has changed?
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
So having not been on a cruise holiday since 2012, we're heading around the med on Symphony of the seas in September to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary.
What differences will we notice since our last cruise? We've done this (similar) itinerary before on Voyager, and sailed around the Caribbean on Allure so there will be some degree of familiarity in terms of the ship & ports, but apart from that......
What's new?
What's better?
What's worse?
What's gone?
Basically, what do we need to know now that we didn't know then?
It will be our first experience of a drinks package & our first boardwalk balcony (always had oceanview balconies previously) so any tips for making the most of those will also be appreciated.
