I think it used to be the Holiday Inn Sunspree but I'm not positive.
When we were there it wasn't a Holiday Inn. It was a really run down place that needed a lot of work. However, the beer was cold and the food was good. We tried to make the best of it. Our next trip to Nassau is next month, I am still debating what to do, we have been there so many times. Maybe we will just take the #10 Jitney to the Daq Shack, hit the straw market & go back to the ship.

The #10 Jitney bus is $1.25 per person each way.

I believe we paid about $65.00 when we were there. We have done the RIU, Sandals, British Colonial, Sunset or something like that new Atlantis. I am not sure that I want to pay $280 for the Melia. I will see what the Warwick is.
I looked up the Warwick, we did the Warwick but at the time it was Sunset or Sunrise or something like that.

Yes, I think we paid $65 the last time we were there. All the day passes have gone up though. RIU is $120 now and Melia is $140.
I think Warwick is the cheapest at $95. We haven't tried that one yet since it's on the harbor and not the beach.

Thank you. As I had said we did this day pass a few years back. It seems the price with up a little. Even back then when we were there it needed an update.

I posted my cruise review and pictures here: https://susancrow.blogspot.com/2019/09/mariner-of-seas.html Scroll down to the second day (Nassau) for the Breezes pictures.
It has been a few years since we did a day pass there, what is the price per adult?

It's in the Bahamas but I'm not certain what part. It's called "Grand Bahama Ship yard" I believe it's where RC does all of their dry docks? I could be mistaken though.
You are correct on the location in Freeport, Grand Bahamas, I haven't heard of anything about the Grand Bahama Shipyard.

My husband now has use a CPAP machine. Does RCCL provide special extension cords and distilled water, and what is the cost? What about a larger nightstand in the cabin to sit by the bed? Need this information ASAP, please.
They will supply you an extension cord and distilled water at no charge. I have needed a larger nightstand for mine.

Once your off of the ship and get outside the disembarkation area, you will see people with signs saying $7.00 or $8.00 for a ride to TPA. You won't need any reservations or worry about how much luggage that you have. Some may have to wait at the airport longer than others.

The Sky was the first cruise ship from the US to start calling Havana and it was the last.
My GF and I were on that first sailing to Cuba on the Sky.

Oops I may be the one causing the confusion. My response in post #3 was assuming OP was at the Best Western location at 1900 Stirling Rd. But it appears they were at the 1221 W State Rd 84 property. Neither being one of the better choices in their respective neighborhoods.
I have stayed at the one on 84 many times and never had any issues with it.

In early April, my husband and I reserved a room for the night before a cruise. We arrived around 11:30pm and was given room #104. In the morning, we discovered that there was no running water in the tub or shower. (We were not told at check in about this situation.) I called the front desk to ask for an available shower in another room (there was none) and stated that I would not be paying full price for this room. Upon check out, I discovered that I was charged full price, and I again explained the situation to Joanne, the front desk clerk. She indicated that she would issue me a refund; she did not.
I have called the general manager's phone number twice, and left detailed messages, I also left a detailed email message for him. (Note that the name, phone number, and email address of the general manager was on a large poster board at the front desk.) I also emailed to the address that "Caring Management" provided in its response to my post on tripadvisor. No one has responded.
I posted this so that others can check to ensure they have a working shower and/or tub before they need to use it.Specifically, which Best Western near FLL are you referring to ?

We use SAS, they will pick you up from a select group of hotels. The list the hotels that they service on their website.
-
We use SAS, they charge $15.00 per person each way, they will even pick us up at the hotel we stay at in Ft. Lauderdale. They do have a group discount.

I guess some people are more fortunate than others, it's hit or miss.

As one who has shattered his left heal, it really sucked and still does. After surgery I had 4 months non weight bearing, I didn't want a walker so I used crutches, I don't think those knee things were available at the time. It still bothers me after 15 years. All I can say is good luck.

They have always let my extra wine go through without any issues on B2B's.

They will charge you 13% to exchange US money as only 3% for Euro or Canadian money.

We were on NCL's first sailing to Cuba on the Sky, later that year we cruised again to Cuba before all of the uncertainties began.

If you really want to splurge just get an UberLUX or Lux SUV. It will cost probably 4x what a regular Uber will cost for the 10-15 minute ride. Escalades, Yukon Denali's, QX80 type vehicle are readily available. No need to book ahead.

Do you have names of any of the shuttles to airport? Thanks!
NJ
There will be many shuttles waiting outside the terminal holding signs up, no reservations are needed. It is that easy.

we just got off our cruise on SUnday and took over an hour to get our car and they said they did not offer this at this location. Never again
Yes I know that, I was talking about picking up your car at FLL. The last few times we use SAS to FLL and picked up the rental car rather than wait near the POM.
