When did OBC supposedly stop ? Last month I booked three 2025 cruises direct with a UK Celebrity agent, Millenium (11 nights), Ascent (11 nights), Silhouette (12 nights) all in standard verandas and got $200 OBC for each cruise.

Got our notification for September in the Med, reduced some port visits by just 30 mins.

Do you perchance book in a Suite? if so perhaps that's why you get a dedicated person to handle your bookings.
I don't book suites and have a dedicated cruise planner that I always book with and have done for over 10 years (the same one). I have their email address and direct dial phone number they are based in Weybridge along with the rest of the UK planners.

For years I could not see why so many Brits loved going to the Canary Islands then did a cruise there and could see why. We don't sunbathe at all and don't like beach holidays but there is so much else to see and do on the Islands especially the geology of the places. Cruises from Southampton usually go to Madeira and Lisbon but I believe the Barcelona cruises are shorter and go to Casablanca and maybe Cadiz, definitely worth considering.

Just take a photocopy of your passport or photo on your phone, they can easily be checked as valid if there's an issue. If an actual passport is required Celebrity will make that clear for the rare ports where it is definitely required.

Yes, Australia has different rules than most B2Bs.
As I recall, you will need to exit the ship so they can "zero it out" and know all pax have disembarked, either at the end of their sailing or as a B2B. You will have been issued your new ship cards. Yes, you will definitely need to pass through immigration on your way out. Unless rules have changed, you will not be allowed back on the ship immediately (I remember something like must be off at 10:00, first return at 11:30). Again, unless rules have changed, you can do whatever you want after you disembark, just as long as you are back in time for all aboard and muster for the next leg.
This is exactly what happened to us in March this year. As well as the new sea pass cards which you will need to get back on board so take them with you, you will get a "magic" card that allows to use a fast channel to board whenever you do return bypassing the others checking in.

And no, it doesnt become suffocating with the window down.
THat very much depends on where you are, humidy and angle of the sun, sorry but the rooms can become very suffocating, not always but dont give misleading advice, only give the fact that it didn't for you.

Yes, it’s the New York cheesecake I believe it’s in the always available.
Sadly no. It's no longer on the always available list. It wasn't available last night and not on the menu tonight. It's a case of get it while you can. You could always try asking off menu of course.

Morning - i am traveling on Celebrity Edge tomorrow ( sooo excited ) i booked my flight and transfer with Celebrity so I will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the ship
does anyone know if this is a shuttle type of setup or do they wait for a few flights to come in before we set off to the ship .. obviously i want to be on board as soon as possible
thanks in advance
At Rome airport, after baggage claim head towards exit, Celebrity Reps and crew will be waiting to check you off their list, (usually to the left as you exit baggage claim). They will take your suitcases and load into cages for transfer to the ship. The transfer will wait for other flights or until they have a full coach load you will then follow the rep for a walk to the waiting coaches. Keep all your travel documents etc with you as you wont see your suitcases again until onboard.
PS. It will probably be extremely busy as many cruise ships are often doing the same thing, but the reps are fairly obvious.

For those who've been on The Beyond, is the dining menu accurate? Some say they're accurate and some say to wait until you get onboard to see what it is.
Menu was always accurate when I was on board, although you do probably have to wait until on board when menus for the cruise are loaded, but they always follow a set pattern. Were always able to check next nights menu while dining.

Cabanas on Reflection are nowhere near the pool, the description quoted also mentions cozy evenings !

There are two cards available, the train one includes the hiking trails, it's fairly cheap and well worth it.

Is sharing PVP name & ext on cruise critic allowed? If so, I would like to get that info from you. We recently cruised on and loved Celebrity and would like to have a reputable PVP.
Try this address on their website

Whether or not it's allowed or not, personally I think it would be unfair to name and give direct details of a PVP here as they are likely to get swamped with extra calls to the detrement of people who have built a trusting realationship with them. Details of the cruise planners are on the Celebrity website, you could try picking one.

Hi,
Relative newbie and going on first Celebrity cruise in 17 days!
We've booked flights from the UK to Rome for the cruise and whenever I look up the details to see what I have to do about check in etc, the page is all greyed out. The flight are apparently with Easyjet.
Anyone have an issue with this before? When should we receive the flight details / information about check in etc?
Feeling they are leaving it a bit late for my liking...
Hi, see post #6, meant to quote you so you get notified.

Hi
First off it's not a unique UK thing, at 17 days out and having paid the final balance you should have the flight info now.
If you booked directly with Celebrity in the UK and not a travel agent you should have received at least two emails containing a final invoice and your Guest Ticket booklet with printable luggage tags etc. Whilst the flight information should be in both documents, sometimes it isn't. If the Guest Ticket document does not have it it should be in the final invoice you recieved . Look for the flight locator ref and go to the airlines own website with it.
If neither of these documents have the flight info you'll need to contact Celebrity, preferably the agent you booked with. If they didn't give you their direct contact details (email or tel No) they are on the UK Celebrity web site.- 1

Is it agreed that this is a problem on all Celebrity ships? I had complaints about the Beyond. But I didn’t spend time in the common areas long enough to see if it was a problem.
It is occasionaly a problem on most ships but not always and I've been on a few.

That being said, would the SeaPass of an Elite Plus guest show Elite Plus, or just Elite? Thank you, G3

I'm clearly the sort of passenger Celebrity wants, I wouldn't be seen dead on any private island, what on earth is the point ?

Checked on the US site as advised.
Exactly the same . All cabins with a black square indicating convertible couch by the window have been blocked off.
Not one available through all decks.
Strange !
Like you, many prefer that configuration, they are vastly more popular and get booked very quickly, that could be a reason.
