Have a GREAT cruise!!!
-
Does not have Tandoor like other ships... I do not know if they will substitute with anything else :(
-
They have like 4 different tea-bags out so I make my own ice-tea ;)
-
So sorry for your loss... Memories never pass and new memories will continue.
Your review is awesome ---> Thank You :)
-
Port Charges are REFUNDED :)
-
It depends on the port. (A few don't deliver until the 2nd day due to liquor laws.)
Why don't you just take it onboard with you? (Each adult can carry on a bottle of wine or champagne)
Thumbs up ---> Better and Cheaper :D
-
Go to the port; dive into the water; scale the ship wall like spiderman to your balcony ---> works every time :D
-
Love the Steakhouse. We do it only once on the first night in order to appreciate it :)
-
lol yup that's it. it just killed this thread for me too, i can't see past your last post kcpumkin. you have a deadly signature lol. at least i know what does it now.
I think I may just create a new profile... Sorry Gang :(
-
-
.while i think they oughta figure out how whatever you did in your signature causes this problem, why not just delete it? and maybe copy / paste to a text document for future reference.i'm glad that now there is an explanation though. i started noticing it shortly after a chrome upgrade, and while that made no sense to me, the timing was coincidental enough i wondered.
The problem is the box doesn't even show up anymore to remove it as it once did

I reported again also

When it happens to me, your post is the last one I see in a particular thread. And what's really weird is that for the first time in over a week, I can see beyond your post in this thread. Yet I can't see beyond your post in the insurance thread.
When I post I learned to uncheck the box "show your signature".
When I made that thread I forgot to uncheck it... ;)

I have been trying to read the posts on OK Insurance Strategy, but all I can see is the original post, no subsequents posts. It appears that 13 people have responded, and more than 1,000 have viewed this thread.
Any idea whatis going on? Am I the only one who can't scroll down and see what else is there?
I posted that thread and it probably has to do with my signature... I contacted cruise critic and let them know that I can't even edit my signature since I tried to post a cruise clock on it. Code is probably messed up but they never responded...

Leave it to someone to turn an innocent insurance question negative. You PAY for a travel insurance policy. A situation arises that ALLOWS you to use the policy and you should feel guilty using it? A cruise line is giving you different OPTIONS and you must compare those OPTIONS with what your policy PROVIDES. So lighten up
-
If the cruise line cancels your cruise, you should receive a full refund. Same for cruise interruption.
Hopefully you're not talking about getting a refund from the cruise line and the insurance company. I believe they call that insurance fraud.
No, not double dipping... A policy is more complex than that
-
To any insurance guru that has an opinion!
The scenario is that you have Travel Insurance (not a Carnival Policy but a decent one) and the cruise company has canceled/interrupted your cruise. You have "cancel for any reason" and "trip interruption" coverage. What would be the best strategy to maximize your policy. Do you take the refund from the cruise or do you cancel through the policy holder and so on. Yes, many variables are into play; but those whom have had travel insurance know the basics of the majority of policies available... Put your thinking caps on ?

When I was on the Dream I used their computer and it was painfully SLOW and EXPENSIVE! A year can make make a big difference though IMO ;)
-
Carnival Vista has never been to UNITED STATES ---> EVER! Yet !
-
You can make both :)
-
When drinking ---> stay off the BALCONY! LOL :D
-
trip cancellation and medical insurance are two different products. You can buy medical coverage without trip cancellation insurance.

Very True! I think passengers know what's best for themselves. I have medical problems that may cause problems before, during or after my cruise. I choose not to risk it. This issue comes up so much on this board and their is never a winner or loser. It is a choice by the individual :)

Get Medivac and see what the bill comes out to be... Hey if you can afford the risk and be your own insurer ---> GREAT! But most of us LITTLE PEOPLE do not want to risk our financial well being due to the unknown...
I hate insurance companies like everyone else ---> until you need them!

I have learned with YTD the earlier you go the more consistent your experience will be (same waiter/waitress, same table). The later you go the more problems occur because it gets busy... I TIP the host the first night so they remember you. Enjoy! :)
Unexpected Expenses? Even small ones...

Arcade is NOT free :( Just put a limit on the kids sail and sign card each day.
Bingo is not cheap but fun :)
I always get $100 in singles and $200 in fives before a cruise for the unexpected tips and things... Have FUN! :D
