The casino was open while we were in Ocean Cay. Table games started at 1pm. It was so quiet around 3pm, I loved it!

Mustafa, the YC director, does an amazing job. He is everywhere! I think after the complaints about towels being left last week, they are more proactive. He strives to give an amazing experience, be sure to talk to him! Enjoy your week, we did!!!

Room service pizza allows you to choose your own toppings, though.
True true. We did that on Grandiosa. But is so hot at the buffet!!!

We are booked in the YC on our first MSC cruise. We aren't getting any specialty dining this time. We are kind of like how much food can we eat? We are looking forward to the pizza!’
Definitely stick with YC for dinner. Pizza is great. We never used delivery…it wasn’t bad to get it at the buffet

All in all great cruise. Only big miss was Hola Tacos. Our server was so slow, items missing, and food bad and when I told him I was going to the buffet to get food he laughed. I said it’s not a joke, this food was horrible.
it was a mistake to get the three meal package. We assumed you could eat at Teppanyaki like on Grandiosa. It had to be butcher, tacos and ocean cay. We skipped Ocean Cay since we didn’t really like menu.
We told concierge next day but she said it had to be a complaint that day. I guess I should’ve asked for a manager but I thought complaining to waiter was enough. Next time, no specialty package.- 1

Long wait at the airport. I’ll work on the more detailed blog now and on plane. It’s at gowithlisablog if you want more photos and details.
Thanks for the well wishes. Cruise crud is a common occurrence. Just a bummer.- 1

Time to say goodbye to Seascape. I’ll finish up here at airport. Loved Ocean Cay! Unfortunately, I started with cold symptoms Thursday and feel pretty bad today. Ugh.

Just know your limits. I learned I could handle 3 before lunch, but 4 was one too many and I would spend the rest of the day in a coma!
Yes.i had two and could still play games with our friends. But nice drink! Reminds me of Aqua de Valencia. If you ever go to Valencia…try it!!

Yesterday dinner in hola tacos. Huge miss. Slooooow service. Bad food. Not good. I think we messed up buying three meal package since third has to be Ocean Key. Not impressed with mention there. Live and learn.

That strawberry cheesecake in BC looks terrific. Having lost count of the number of times I’ve had it (on several ships) and mostly good, that’s the best I’ve seen. Last few times, it’s been such a letdown that I’ve went with the chocolate lava cake (yum). That photo has made the decision for me to have it, at least once, on our Seascape cruise.
I didn’t order so I’ll ask friends tomorrow about it

Today we are in Puerto Plata. We went for a walk to umbrella street, pink street and the amber museum. Very easily walkable once you navigate the gauntlet of tour guides. It was really hot though so we went back for a dip in the pool before pizza for lunch at the buffet. Then we played some games in the lounge.

Your Angus burger for lunch should have had battered and fried onion rings not those raw slices. On the Meraviglia they were awesome.
I thought that’s what it should’ve been but sometimes translations are wonky

The cruise leaving this weekend found out officially about a week prior. There is a shuttle service from the port in Baltimore offered and that sign up happened on Tuesday.
