I'm curious as well. We also will be there late May. I'm gonna do some looking and see what I can find. I'll let you know.

Concierge lounge is like Diamond lounge was pre covid. Drinks do not come from the allowance.

It wrecks havoc on my silver jewelry whatever it is and has destroyed 2 swimsuits. I no longer use them because of the swimsuit issue, I can polish the silver.

This is all very interesting to me. If that had happened to me, I would have just thought "oh well, my bad" because I wouldn't think Royal would go to great lengths to find something I lost. Good to know. But having read the whole thing I am curious if maybe there was some excessive alcohol consumption? I like to drink - don't get me wrong but I think I would have noticed that I didn't have my sea pass card before the next morning and definitely would have missed my hair brush! I have left and lost things in my life for sure but chalk it up to my stupidity. Not that excess alcohol consumption means it's ok to steal from that person but it means that maybe the ticket wasn't in the bag, maybe the OP doesn't really recall what happened. That's all I am saying.

Better than nothing for who? It doesn't change a thing for me. I don't take cruises for anything less than 7 nights. So, I get nothing!
I guess my boarding pass only has the COVID virus on it if it says 7 nights or longer. In my opinion, it's a gimmick. Less people likely to show up positive, less people in the quarantine cabins, less public relations issues while on the cruise ship on a 6 or less night cruise.
Oh well, it is less likely that I'll be looking for a cruise earlier than my January 2024 cruise that I've already got booked. At least as long as the testing requirement is still there.
If you don't have one booked until 2024 then you aren't likely the target they want to please.

Well dang. We will just have to get by with our 2 days each of free internet as D+. I was hoping for some better perks, not complaining just hoping. Getting to take this trip will be special no matter what we get or don't. lol
If we wanted internet for the whole trip would we be better getting it in advance or using the D+ free days along with buying it on board if that makes sense. We always buy it in advance but now I am wondering.

I wish Royal Caribbean would use the same suite classifications across the whole fleet. Royal class on some ships, and sea, sky, star on others. It would make it so much easier to know what perks the different suites get.
exactly. It's difficult to determine what gets what.

Would this be the same of booked into the OS on the Radiance of the Seas?
I'm sailing on 2 or your 3 trips I believe. Radiance doesn't have the Royal Suite Class so I don't think that applies, and pretty sure the free wifi does not.

Which sailing are you on? I ask because I’m on June 29 and my bid hasn’t been rejected as of today.
You probably should call Royal Caribbean and tell them you are sailing out of Nassau, not Barcelona.
The bid wasn't rejected the second time, I just went back and looked and it looked like we had never made the bid. So we went back to the link in the email and that's where it says ineligible. The reservation is clearly for the Bahamas. Good thing we have a cabin we like!

Here is the link to the Royal Up offers page. I re-submitted my bid and I got an email saying it was received. If this doesn’t work, let me know.
We resubmitted as well and as I look this morning, it has cleared out again and if we go to the original email to upgrade and click the link, it says "Not eligible for upgrade"

Today, yes. But I haven't "won" a Royal Up. So if I cancel now and don't get the Royal Up, I have to re-purchase everything for likely a higher price then I paid.
Oh sorry, I thought you got the Royal Up - confirmed.

I'm getting mixed responses on this, so I thought I would ask here. If you win a royal up in a Star Class Suite (currently booked in a Sky Class Suite), do you get a refund on any beverage packages/speciality dining that has already been purchased?
you can refund that right now, can't you?

TBF, it just says your sea pass card will be on your door at 11am, which could well be true.
It doesn't say anything about getting to it or your room, or your room being ready at that time...
mine says the room will be ready! But I don't care, I just thought it was odd.
-
I noticed that as well.
-
No way to tell but if you purchase it and it goes down, you can refund and repurchase. No risk!

The royal app tells us our cabin will be available at 11am which doesn't seem right for a 3pm departure.

Personally I am not keen on Wonderland on Anthem, but we were very impressed with Jamie's and especially the outside seating area with fantastic views.
Is it outside outside or just outside on the Royal Esplanade? Jamie's is the only specialty restaurant we haven't tried so we were planning to this time. I liked Wonderland but DH didn't so much.

remember you can not get in your room until 1... so we now plan on getting to the pier around 1 and the lines are smaller we go straight to the cabin drop off walk on things and go eat..
We like to get onboard as early as possible and enjoy a drink and people watch - embarkation day is the best for people watching. Then we eat somewhere and then check our our cabin.

Just to clarify-three drinks at the bars-but unlimited in DL-so one could go to DL and have a drink or two and then go and use the three additional drinks at bars, if within the happy hour? Or is it either/or-go to DL or bars but not both? Does bottled water count as one of the three?
Unlimited while in the DL plus then three on your card so you could drink several in the DL then head out and get three more. And yes, all within whatever the happy hour time is.

The only time we haven't heard from the concierge in advance was when we got a Royal up to a GS from a JS and we got the RoyalUp more than a week in advance. Turns out the concierge wasn't the best we've encountered so that may be the issue and not the RoyalUp.
