I wonder if sailing out of Vancouver would be better weather, maybe for the first sea day?
-
I have been checking Radiance cabins for a possible Alaskan cruise in August. I find that for most all cabins across all categories during the month of August, the availability is showing mostly guarantee cabins.
Does that mean the ship is close to sold out or close to sold out???
-
I have been checking prices almost daily for the past couple of months but not seeing any real sales. So I may be waiting for a last minute deal.
-
Currently looking at cruises to Alaska in August timeframe and the prices seem a little on the high side.

You should also check out resort for a day's website. We booked one of the resorts last year when we were in Ocho Rios and it was amazing and all inclusive with the transportation included. This year we have chosen Royalton White Sands thru a different company but it looks better than some of the other choices close to Falmouth.

Which Hotel in Fort Lauderdale is best for viewing the ships?

Thanks for posting this!

So glad to hear all the nice comments posted here. We are going on Indy in 5 weeks. I definitely feel better now :)
-
I would think the Spring Break crowd would be ongoing for the whole month of March.
-
I just read some of the most recent reviews for the Indy and they sound pretty bad. We have an upcoming cruise within the next 6 weeks and I now feel a little bit of a let down. Hope I have a better cruise....

I get excited when I have actually chosen the ship and itinerary....more excited when final payment has been made!!!!

How were the pools and pool deck?
-
I am really enjoying following your live cruising! Now seriously considering this ship for our next cruise vacation.
-
We cruise on CB March 30th, hopefully we will have a nice cruise......but I will keep my expectations in check. But no matter we will be in the warm and beautiful Carribean and away from the cold :)

I emailed my TA about the bottle of wine offer for turning 50 this year and she emailed Princess and was told my voyage on CB 5 night was not eligible. So I called Princess and was told the offer is valid once I am on board (probably should bring flyer). I don't think Princess reps. always have the most current information.
-
Yes there is - you get OBC if you book a cruise for your 50th birthday:)
Wow, I will have to call my TA :D
-
I wonder if there is anything special if you are turning 50 this year?
-
I have not been on Princess during a Jewish holiday, but experienced a similar Hanukah celebration on Carnival a few years ago that was well attended and itvwas nice that the effort was made. As for Passover, I wouldn't have high expectations for sedar food (nor would I imagine it would be kosher for Pesach) but, again, I appreciate the thought and effort behind it. If the Sedar meal is important to you, best go to bubbie's house :)
Bubbie's House is the Best, but it will be second night of Seder for us :)
-
My husband and I will be on the CB during Passover. How do we find out about first night Seder?

If we are off our ship by around 9am, is it possible to do the turtle farm, go back to the ship for lunch and still have time at the beach if our ship leaves at 4pm? Or should we just plan on doing one or the other, beach or turtle farm? I would hate to see us running around super rushed to do everything and not enjoying it as much.

I was talking to the guide on the semi submersible last week. I say that rather than glass bottom boat since you are actually sitting below water level. He'd worked on both and said it's actually more difficult to see from the sub since they go down further and there is less light from the sun.
Thanks for that perspective!
-
Hi we are interested in possibly doing one of these. My husband is hesitant about the submarine but is more open to the glass bottom boat. Let us know your thoughts on either of these?

My wife and I did the Bamboo Beach VIP excursion through Norwegian in October of 2014. We had a blast. Great staff, food, drinks, beach, etc.
Here is the link to my full cruise report. Bamboo Beach starts at post #13.
Thanks, that whole cruise looked fun!

We will be in Ocho Rios during the first week of April and are wondering about Bamboo Beach. It looks really pretty and laid back with some shade too. If anyone has been there please provide your thoughts. Thanks!
Excursion into Tracy Arm worth it?

Does anyone know which ships have this excursion offered?
