Hi, are there still 2 formal nights on a 7 night cruise. We depart on the 6th Sept.
-
Hi, thanks I will check out the roll call.

Hi, we are on this cruise. The itinerary says overnight in Hamburg but just noticed on the website it says "on 9th sept 2017, the vessel will not dock at Hamburg port. Special disembarkation will not be allowed"
Does that mean we are not stopping there at all? Anyone know anything?

If you have an afternoon flight you can usually do a trip on your last day but you can only book them once on board.

One happy bunny! Cruise still not showing up on the website due to a technical hitch with the cabins but managed to book over the phone Yay !!!! :-)

Sorry should have said leaving 29th March. That one definately not there any more.

Been looking at this 2 week cruise from Gatwick or Birmingham. Was on the website yesterday but today it has disappeared. I can book flights only but no cruise from any UK airport. I can't imagine the ship is full as when the cabins are getting low it always says only so many of this type of cabin, but no indication yesterday. Waiting for Thomson tonphone me back and confirm. I am hoping it's just a glitch with the new website b

Been looking at this for ages and finally booked yesterday for hubby and i at the Thomson shop as it was cheaper than in line. Total cruise price £598 for and outside plus deck 5/6. Amazing price

Also if you have a reservation make sure you arrive at the latest about 15 mins before the start because they open the doors to everyone 10 mins before the start

Told today that I won't have the booklet until 15 days days before. However someone who is going this Sunday still doesn't have hers so I won't hold my breath.

Loads of entertainment. The music hall is fab. Excellent rock band called Rock the Boat, also in the same area was a Robbie Williams tribute act. There is also a comedian and the show team. Also lots of the bars have entertainment.

Emailed Rccl but no response yet so going to try TA tomorrow

Guest booklets contain your on board schedule, so anything you have booked like shows, tours etc

We are flying British Airways from Gatwick. The flight was free when we booked the cruise.

Hi, I'm on the allure 6th Sept cruise. I have checked in on line and have printed my best sail pass but guest booklets aren't available yet. I'm sure they don't usually take this long. Anyone else got their booklets?

Had another look at Rome in a limo. It says for the tour I want €500. Is that per person or for the car. The car holds 4 people

Just had a look a Rome in a limo but they are bit pricey for me. We are in Rome on a Thursday so should be open

We are on the Allure in September. Really want to see the Sistine chapel. Not sure if the ships tour or independent would be best. Cant decide between getting the ships shuttle and buying tickets for the museum on line or taking the ships tour. With the ship it say if the tour guide believes that the queue will be longer than 45 minutes then you will not be able to enter the chapel. Has anyone else been on a ships tour and did you get in OK. Anyone else done it independently. What did you think.

I missed that first time of reading. Still don't understand why it doesn't appear under restrictions. Otherwise why have such a heading. Oh well won't be eating at the coastal kitchen then.
-
Anthem doesn't seem to have MDR. That is where we would usually eat unless it is a special occasion then we usually book something for that night. I suppose the nearest they have to MDR is the Grande but that is formal every night. All the restaurants we have booked for dinner are all complementary. We have booked Grande twice, Chic, Silk and Icon twice and we have one more night to book. Might just play it by ear for that night.
-
But should that not appear under restrictions?
-
What makes you think it is just for suite guests. It doesn't say it is on the website. It says no restrictions and attire is casual so I would be surprised if it is for suite guests only. No other restaurants appear to be.

Anyone able to help please?
IS the food really that bad on Preziosa?
in MSC Cruises
Posted
First time I cruised with MSC was with Magnifica and the food was awful. I have just come off the Preziosa and although the food was better in my view it was not as good as most cruise lines.
The portions are small but they are more than happy to provide more.
It is just 3 courses with I think about 3 choices for each course.
The cheese plate is also very small, but they are happy to provide that as well as a desert.
There is no tea or coffee offered at the end of the meal.
I found the food was not only tepid in the buffet but also in the MDR at breakfast.
I didn't like the large plastic plates in the buffet.
