  1. 2-3-2 is AF biz class Nancy.

Never have seen that in biz class.

I certainly would not want a middle seat for that amount of money spent.

2-3-2 seating was common in both the 777-200 and 747's On United some of the 777-200 have 2-4-2 business class, and some have 2-3-2 or 2-2-2 depending on the route. The real crime is in coach where the airlines are cramping another seat in each row in the 777 to make it 10 across 3-4-3.

  2. Hawaiian Airlines does a good job and their service is tops for an American airline.

Hawaiian upgraded the aircraft from a 767 to a Airbus 332 on this route. Both TN and AF's business class are much superior to what HA offers. If you're making connections back east from HNL on HA prepare to very long connection times.

  3. We also did the 14 day Society, Marquesa cruise back in April. Had a great time. Next May/June we doing a 14 day Fiji cruise with stops at Luganville, Port Stanley, Port Vila, Tanna in Vanuatu, Lifou, Noumea and Lles des Pins in New Caledonia along with Malolo in Fiji. We are looking forward to this trip as something different another part of the world we haven't been to.

  4. Thanks for your advice John.

I will be travelling with my husband so it sounds like it could be a bit tight, but do you think it is worth paying the extra to upgrade to cat 4 which is £250pp extra, star clippers say they are sold out of cat 5?

    Many thanks,

    Shilu

The cat 5 cabins are horrible. They are so small, no storage, the bed is just another story all together. The cat 6 is actually better than the 5.
