I want to commend everyone on this board for having such great manners and skills. It is all too common for someone to post a negative about their dearly beloved cruise line and be completely belittled by others. How nice to see such ladies and gentlemen on the O boards.

Of course I'm greatly disappointed by what I'm reading, so I too will lower my expectations for my April cruise.

I also use a 3 ring binder. I know it's cumbersome, but I just can't wean myself off. Plus I love all the articles I've cut out of magazines. We usually "study" the night before the port to review. i take stuff out the binder to take with me, and then pitch it. The whole binder lives in the cabin. By the end of the cruise, I have nothing, and throw the binder away.

I thought in Marseilles, we were in walking distance of the old Town. Is that not so?

Can you request a table and chairs in order to eat breakfast on the balcony? And if so, do you have your agent request before arrival or do I do it once on board?

Anybody know anything about cabin 7116 on the Riviera?

Loved your commentary, as I did on your past Crystal cruise. We have sailed on Crystal twice, and recently sailded on the Eclipse. Booked the Eclipse again for next year, with kids and grandkids. And we are considering another Crystal for next May

I am curious as to your comparison between the 2 lines. Of course Crystal is "better", but I'm not sure it is 3-4 times "better". Your thoughts?
