  1. Any thoughts whether a morning ferry in July to Gudvangen is any better than a noon ferry back to Flam?
  2. Thanks for the suggestion that the time zone mattered. I changed the time zone on my laptop to local time in Norway, and at least for me, the problem resolved itself and the times on the official port list were then accurate. When I reverted to Pacific Time, it was off again. All good!
  3. The Celebrity Apex is supposed to arrive in Flam at 7:00am July 23, 2024, but the official Flam Port cruise list says it will arrive at 7:00am on July 22, instead. Do we just assume that is a typo, and they do actually know what day the ship is showing up?
  4. Thanks for the suggestions! So, the Port Authority buses sometimes have ramps to get in... that is good. I'll look for Express Shuttle.
  5. Ah. Thanks for the reply. That isn't very good news. I'm not sure how to get my husband out of the ship area!
  6. I am looking for specific information regarding the port at Zeebrugge, regarding my husband's wheelchair. If I understand correctly, when you get off the ship, you can either get on a port-provided shuttle to the terminal; or a ship-provided shuttle or excursion to Bruges or the train. The ship-provided accessible shuttle to Bruges is fully booked. We were interested in a taxi anyway, but I understand you can only get in a taxi at the terminal. My question: is the port-provided shuttle to the terminal the low-to-the-ground kind, or one with a lift for the wheelchair, or does that person have to climb up stairs onto the shuttle to the terminal?
