  1. We used Xuan for HCMC and Nha Trang and can highly recommend him.  He is an excellent guide who takes great care of his customers and obviously loves his job.  He always answered any questions prior to the tours very promptly and kept in touch when our port schedules were constantly changing.

  2. We had the same issue (amongst other noise issues) when we were on Vista in Concierge 8121 in July.  We could hear our neighbours's television and even hear them talking on their telephone.  Someone posted on an Oceania Vista forum that they had someone come to their cabin to measure the noise level from their neighbours' television.

  3. I posted on another forum about the noise we encountered from the Crew Pantry when we were in 8121.  There was also a Crew Pantry opposite 8061 but I don't know how noisy that pantry was.  Sorry, can't comment about deck 7.  There was a lift in the Pantry which was used to bring up food for room service orders, so I presume that lift would service all decks.

  4. Hope you don't mind me asking CJ, but has the price of your cruise increased since you booked it? Our TA has asked for the OLife Ultimate to be applied to our cruise, but Oceania is saying that we can have OLife Ultimate applied, but we will have to pay the current cruise price which is more expensive than we originally paid so not worth doing.  Oceania has asked our TA to provide them with an example of someone successfully having this applied to their booking.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  5. We were recently told we are now following our original itinerary but I noticed that we are now going to Aitutaki and Rarotonga in the reverse order from the original itinerary.  We had not been informed of this change and I wondered if anyone else had been told about this.

  6. I am no expert on testing, but as far as I am aware it is 24 hours before your Paris to Tahiti flight.  I think that you would need a test in Paris.  So, at the moment, we will be taking a test the day before our flight to San Francisco and as we are staying overnight in San Francisco, we will have to take another test before our flight to Papeete.  We land in SFO at 5.30pm so will take a test at the airport before going to our airport hotel.   Our flight is at 1.30pm the next day with United so this should be OK.  Hopefully, French Polynesia might drop testing requirements before we go, but I am getting really stressed out about all the different testing requirements.
