From what I hear and can see, The Local village has a better menu. I think I may eat there, have a few drinks and then have a few more at Jack's shack. From what I can tell it's only a stumble away :p

We're in GT next Thursday and the RollCall is planning on a stop by Jack's for the free rum tasting. Might swing by LV on the walk/waddle back to the ship. We'll be eating at another place on th eother side of Cockburntown, not near the cruise center. But if we stop by I'll check a menu for you.

Where are you eating? Is it walking distance? I'm going next month :)

My first and only cruise I took my own. They take up so much space...as I like the super big nice ones.......

I never touched them...lesson learned. I won't be bringing them this time around :-)

I was thinking of something green.....vodka , midori and pineapple. Not sure what to make it :-/

Awesome review. Like every other review..I'm usually skimming through the words quickly and waiting for the pictures and in this case the pictures are awesome. But your photographer...so obviously, they're awesome! I took a few classes in photography, so I know how much work it can be set up a good shot.

I googled it and this is what I found. Link below. I do know, that on my last (and first) cruise that I didn't know you could refill for a dollar cheaper. I didn't see it advertized anywhere...So many dollars could have been saved haha.I felt like when I went it was $6.95 for the DOD, that's why I thought refils were $5.95. Could be wrong...or just wishful thinking :rolleyes:

From my experience, I only saw the coral fish cup around Lido pool, it was filled with a special watermelon drink, not DOD. I never asked about whether you could put anything in the fish cup. It was $14 sthg including the 15%.

 

The disco ball, when I saw them in Amber palace theater, the server said you can put anything in it. I got mine from the Casino bar, the bartender told me only can put classic cocktail in it. It was also $14 sthg including the 15%.

 

The whaletail cup, I asked two different bartenders on Lido, they both said you can only put DOD in it. I don't like the DOD for that day so I just bought the empty whale tail cup, it was $4.95 plus the 15%.

$14 filled with DOD?!? After that, isn't it only $5.95 to fill?..That's kind of silly, cause you just just buy the cup and have them 're-fill' it for a cheaper price...?
