Thanks so much! I was booking through Shore Excursioneer and we'll meet right at the cruise terminal. I've done one other excursion with them but it was at Key West so no anxiety associated with it.

Asking for thoughts and advice. I am considering booking an excursion through another company instead of Carnival - a cave tubing tour. The excursion leaves one hour after the Dream anchors at Belize. My concern is that since I don't have FTTF, is there a chance that I won't get off the ship within the hour? I would think that the guests with FTTF and those that have booked through Carnival would tender first. I guess I should just consider the extra cost if I book through Carnival as insurance. Any one else had experience with time frames in Belize? Thanks!

Your gold status had nothing to do with your boarding group. You had an early check in and were assigned a boarding group based on the number of people that check in before you. There could have easily been a blue card holder with the same boarding group.
Oh I realize that, didn't mean to imply that it had anything to do with it. Just was trying to say we were not priority boarding. Just trying to say it was a very quick process! :)

We sailed on the Dream last month and had 10:30 check in. It was easy! We did not have faster to the fun. They started boarding around 11:30 and my group (we're gold so we were in I think boarding group 25 or so) was onboard by 12:15 and my husband and I were eating by 12:30. Our rooms were not ready until 1:30 but we only had to wait approx 8 minutes (I remember checking watch).

Thanks! I had to have been residual noise from the pool! It was constant and we we were on the Lanai said of the ship. It was too, too much noise to be coming from the other balconies. That's what I too thought at first, but just couldn't be. I couldn't even nap during the day :(. But, I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, we have never had a bad cruise, and I still overlooked the noise and we will book another balcony just have to consider where first. Mntgal33, which deck do you like for noise reduction?

Our last cruise on the Dream we constantly heard chair scraping across the deck. I went on most of the day and into the night. It definitely didn't ruin our cruise, not much could, but I never could figure out where the noise was coming from.
We had a balcony on deck on 8. Anyone else encountered this?

Could the propulsion issues cause the Dream to just die in the water???

I guess this is my exact concern - that we'll be delayed getting off the ship, the excursion will leave without us, and I'll loose my deposit :o
