Sorry, accidentally submitted without finishing. LOL Anyway 2 tributes to military personnel. Lots of games, trivia, etc. His staff is always upbeat and on time. Loved the question and answer time he had on Allure. He gave a good look into life aboard. All three times it seemed like he was a fun mood-setter

As I said, I really enjoyed sailing with Cory Rogers. He is not only entertaining and personable, but he does an amazing job with having lots of activities going on almost constantly. I really helps with crowd control and it gives me options. Had 2 parades and 2 tributes to

I see that Daniel Gilham is currently the cruise director on JOS but can't find any reviews or info about him. Can someone who has sailed with him comment on whether or not he has impacted their cruise in either a good or bad way? My last 3 cruises (Allure and Harmony), I have sailed with Cory Rogers, who does an amazing job! Never sailed with Daniel

LOL. I looked at "all excursions" instead of filtering Cozumel. Guess we can do both!! Yay. Thanks so much.

Does anyone have experience with Chankanaab and Gumbalimba Park? I'm trying to book a Cozumel excursion for my April sailing on HOS. Is one facility better than the other? TIA

I love your creativity! Awesome idea.

Anyone ever set sail on Easter? How good are the chances that their will be a Christian Easter service on Allure when we set sail on Easter Sunday?
-
I will be on a sailing identical to this one except that I will have two grandchildren. (ages 5 and 7). Your port days sound like so much fun. Would you recommend taking the kids to those same locations?

On our December, 2022 Allure sailing I seem to remember Cory Rogers telling us that he thought he'd be getting off at the end of February. Any confirmation of that? Anyone know who would replace him? We are back onboard for Easter. 😊

sorry. wrong date entered and I couldn't delete

Thank you. I think we will give it a try. Sounds like fun.

Thinking of booking the excursion to Gumbalimba with DH and a 7 year old and a 5 year old. Anybody been there who will give their impressions of the place?

Sounds wonderful. Thanks for the replies. I wish it was back on Allure. I set sail this Sunday!

I saw somewhere that there is a show called Blue Planet on Allure but I don't see a description or any way to reserve a seat. Does anyone know what this is?

Re: Celebrity I saw something I thought was called "all included" or something similar. Also I get the impression that different cabins come with different amenities. Don't know the details

I am really hoping someone can give a comparison of Royal/Celebrity too. I am having a hard time figuring out what is included when you pay fare on celebrity and what's extra. I love Royal but I've never tried Celebrity. Also, interested in what the vibe is and what there is to do onboard.

Thanks for the thorough review. I'm thinking hard about giving Celebrity a try. We always cruise on Royal Caribbean but I've been told that X is even better. Is there anything in particular I should know before I book?

Thanks for the info orville99. I am hoping that since I'm going at Christmas maybe my experience will be better. I've cruised enough to know each cruise has its own unique personality. Hope your next one is better. Of course, even a mediocre cruise is still a fun vacay for us

I am not departing until Dec. 18th but I'm already obsessed 😁 . I hop7/8 e we have a "formal" night even though it's really more of a dress for dinner night. Glad to hear that a 5 night cruise will be so similar to my usual 7/8 nighters. Does anyone have any "must do" ideas for me? I'll be on Allure for the first time.

Does anyone have a menu from a recent 5 nighter?

Thank you. I was hoping that was the case 😊

I have always cruised on 7 or 8 day cruises but now have a 5 day planned. I've heard 3 and 4 day RCCL cruises feel more like a booze cruise, though I don't have any first hand knowledge. Is there any particular vibe you've noticed on 5 day cruises?

Did you find that guests were more "dressed up" for NYE or was it just a typical formal night?
Does anyone know Daniel Gilham
