Did you find that guests were more "dressed up" for NYE or was it just a typical formal night?
-
What do you think about booking a 10:05 flight home from the Harmony? Too early?
-
I see an address and ph. number is required. Is that referring to the accompanying adults or for the parent's? I am taking grandkids in February. Where did you get the form?

Thank you all so much for the info/suggestions. We as sooooo excited about our upcoming trip.

Beside their passports, what do we need to bring for a sailing out of Galveston with our two grandchildren? Ages 4 and 6.

Thank you all for the suggestions. It sounds like it will be a beautiful cruise!!

Any suggestions for activities in Juneau or Sitka? I posted on the Alaska board but I know sometimes the port boards give a slow response. This will be a June departure -- 1st time cruise on HAL.

Can anyone recommend excursions and/or must do things for an itinerary that includes Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan and Victoria British Columbia? I wish we were going to Skagway b/c I hear we could rent a car and drive up the Yukon trail from there

We just returned from Liberty with John/Katrina. They're both very visible. John still does his Neil Diamond tribute show, which is really good. They both did a great job with the Quest, too. However, I noticed that he seemed 'off' to me. We've had them on prior cruises. I wondered if he might have been sick because he was very flushed and didn't have the energy level I've seen in the past.
Thanks for info. I hope he is feeling better and more energetic. A bad CD doesn't ruin my experience but a good one sure adds a lot of fun to the cruise for me.

Has anyone had any recent experience with John Blair as a CD? Just saw that he is expected to be on my May, 2018 sailing on LOS. I'm looking forward to it as I don't think we've ever sailed with him.

How far is Scotchies from Falmouth?
-
Love them!! They're a great value and provide a perfect perch for people watching. Of course if you don't want people watching you, you can close the drapes!

We ate at Sabor last month of the LOS. Though we missed the table side guac or experience was wonderful. We were a party of 6 and our waiter brought out the appetizers and desserts of his choice. We each chose our entree and passed around the plates. It was fabulous. Great service and really good food. My son and daughter in law say that they had the best margarita's ever!!!

Thanks sounds like fun.

My group of 8 signed up in advance. I think it's 12 people max for the adventure. We joined 4 others who signed up that we didn't know. Everyone works together to solve the puzzle and escape. We made it with 9 seconds to spare!

Do you sign up via cruise planner? Is there a cost?
-
Do you sign up for Escape the Rubicon before boarding or once onboard?
-
Thanks to all of you. I'm hoping to reserve one when I'm there. Nellie's Beach will work.

Flat rate for up to 6 guests.
They can be reserved via the Suite Concierge.
Can I reserve one if I'm not booked in a suite?
-
Does anyone know the cost of the cabanas at Barefoot Beach (Labadee)? Is it per person or a flat rate? I am interested in all four types, depending on the price. Also, how and when can I reserve one?

Love the pics. This is a great way to present a review. I can hardly wait to sail HOTS!

How much do they cost?

I am sailing on Liberty in April with my 2 yo and 4 yo grandchildren. Are there any beaches or excursions that might be good for them while in Roatan?
-
look for a "dreamworks" ship. We will be sailing on Liberty of the Seas on the 21st with my 2 little girls, 5 and 2.
Liberty looks to be a great ship for little ones. I am looking forward to my oldest experiencing the cruise. It is going to be a blast!
Have you decided on any excursions? We will have our grandchildren, ages 2 and 4, with us in April when we sail.
5 day cruise vibe
in Royal Caribbean International

I have always cruised on 7 or 8 day cruises but now have a 5 day planned. I've heard 3 and 4 day RCCL cruises feel more like a booze cruise, though I don't have any first hand knowledge. Is there any particular vibe you've noticed on 5 day cruises?
