Is Commodore Romano still with the fleet? If so, which ship?
Thanks in advance. SilverBird

I did not mean to imply that I was finding fault with the OP when I said I was "sad". Right now I am disappointed (sad) that we may never know what happened. I was/am just curious.

I was hoping for an answer. I guess we will never know. Sad . . .

On April 13 (two months ago) Emiliebee posted a request on this board for suggestions to announce her pregnancy on her upcoming cruise. Several ideas were posted, some of which were very clever. As indicated in her original post, the cruise has come and gone.
Curious minds want to know. What did you do? Was the announcement a true surprise? Please let us know the outcome!!
Thank you, SilverBird

Thank you, RebelSoul, for responding to my inquiry. It is a bit embarrassing on my part. From now on, I will check the date of the posting prior to making a comment/inquiry.
Again, thank you for your kindness. SilverBird

Hi --
I would be interested in this cruise but cannot seem to find any information regarding it. Can you please supply me with details? We can communicate privately if you wish.
I was on the last cruise to Bermuda but we got caught up in Hurricane Sandy; therefore, it is still on my "Bucket List".
Thanks for any help you can give me. SilverBird

Whatever you do, will you please come back on this board and tell us all about it??? How did you decide to announce? When? What was the reaction? Inquiring minds want to know.
Congratulations. I am very happy for you and your hubby.

Not watching Archives. I watched the original sailing on January 17. It was a neat experience.

Hi Norris --
I did as you suggested and watched you and Carol sail out of Port Everglades. I saw you on your aft balcony -- Carol was waving a white towel and you were taking pictures and waving. I am going to make a fresh pot of coffee in the morning and then settle down to catch up on what is now page 53. I know it will be entertaining.

I look forward to reading your review. I always like to hear of a "first-timers" experience.

yes, Yes, YES!!!! You will never know until you go. This tour is well worth the cost. I was so impressed with all the workings of the ship that I never really thought about. The whole process is truly amazing -- all the components working together to give the passengers such a wonderful experience/cruise.

If you decide to try this, please let us know what happens. Of course, the reaction at each ship could be different.
Thank you, SilverBird

Would love to hear the outcome of this situation.

to answer both your questions. I wear mine either on a bracelet or necklace -- depends on the mood I am in or the clothes I intend to wear. It does come in both finishes.
I hope you get one and enjoy wearing it.

To TruckGuy I say a big THANK YOU!! He was kind enough to get and mail the charm to me. The Princess CC Board is full of special people and TruckGuy is one of them.

Thanks again, SilverBird

Norris and Carol are off on another adventure. I am an avid follower and look forward to your live or "not-so-live" reports.
May you have fair winds and calm seas. Bon Voyage you two.

The directions for the leis I made are here. Easy to do and then I decorated them with some artificial plumeria flowers.
Enjoy your cruise.

You sign up at the Passenger Services Desk as soon as you board the ship. You cannot make arrangements prior to then. The tour is limited to 12 people and the cost is $150 per person. Well worth the money. The gifts are great also.

This is worth watching. It will put a smile on your face.

A big thank you to all who responded to my request. I would also like to thank Princess for the opportunity to place enough money, via the On-Board Gift Credit, in my friend's account to cover the cost of the bead.
I am so grateful that we did all our bucket-list cruises before our current situation. The photo albums are reviewed and help with cognitive therapy.
Enjoy and embrace your life folks as it can change radically in a matter of seconds.

Would someone out there, either sailing now or in the near future, please find out the cost of the 50th Anniversary "Pandora-type" bracelet bead? I need to know in order to give someone money to purchase one for me. My cruise plans had to be cancelled when my husband fell and hit his head causing a bleed in his brain. With rehab and therapy he is coming along quite well. Miracles do happen.

If the OP wants it done the way that Carnival or Disney does it -- then just sail on Carnival or Disney. That would solve the problem.
I do apologize for flame throwing. SilverBird
