Things to do on a changeover day in Montego Bay.
-
Was there a week ago, 10 mins at most. There is a set price of $2.50 a head in the taxi. Good snorkeling from Cocoa beach, take a banana from the buffet, it attracts lots of fish.

I think this is wrong, went to the travel agent to check in. We where put in seats apart, but if we pay £15 each we could sit together. Surely if there are seats together you should be allocated those first. A bit Ryanair ish. Your comments please.
-
Thanks.
-
Did you do this online
-
Many thanks

Hi Dronnygirl. Is that $20 per person, no matter how many in the taxi?

Very kind, most helpful. Thanks

Tried to 'Mange my booking' For the last week or more. I get this... We're really sorry, we're having technical problems. Tried to call, waited for 15mins, no answer. Its funny the website works if you want to make a booking! I have tried this on 2 servers.

There were 3 couples in our party. It was our first cruise on the Dream after 3 on Celebration. The flight from Gatwick on the 787 Dreamliner went well with a good entertainment system. A long queue at immigration took about half an hour, but a smooth embarkation. Our cases were outside our cabins when we boarded, and then off to explore the ship. I liked the way that all the inside bars were on one deck (8). We all thought the food in both the Lido buffet and Orion main restaurant was very good. we also liked very much the supplement restaurant Sirens. As usual the staff were always friendly and helpful. We were all impressed with live music in the bars, although we didn't use the theatre. We didn't use any ship excursion's. Grand Cayman: we went for the 2nd time to Stingray city with Dexter's Fantasea's tours, great half day with no more than 20 people on a trimaran. $40 as opposed £55 from Thomson. Overnight in Havana!!! Fantastic town. We used the Hop on Hop off bus for $10, we couldn't get on the open air upper deck and the lower deck's sound system was rubbish, could not hear a thing. Maybe better to use one of the vintage car tours. Just walk around old Havana, we had no problems at all there is music everywhere. On the evening we went to the El Floridta bar, too packed and couldn't get a drink. So we went to a bar we had seen earlier in the day, it just around and called Moserrate bar. We had such a good night here, great music, drinks, and staff, its a must!. Cozumel, go to a beach and lunch and a beer.
All in all had a brilliant time.

Just received this from Thomson cares. I had spoken to customer services and they said go to a Thomson TA. I can't even check in at all! It seem when us 4 get to the airport (Gatwick) we will be scattered all over the plane from the remaining seats. This is the first time I have had this problem on my 5th cruise with Thomson. Very annoying.
Thank you for your email.
The attached document is your E-ticket, this is not confirmation of check in.
If you see a pop-up saying that you'll need to collect your boarding passes from the airport, our shop staff can't provide the online check-in service for you. If you see this message, please go to one of the airport bag drop desks when you arrive at the airport, where you can collect your boarding passes and we'll allocate you seats from what's remaining.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards,

Just received this from Thomson cares, if we check in at the airport we won't be sitting together probably.
Thanks for your email.
I've attached your eticket to this email for you.
If you receive a message online advising you to check-in at the airport, this means that online check-in isn't available for your booking. It doesn't happen very often, but it means you'll need to pick up your boarding passes from the Thomson Airways bag drop desk when you get to the airport.
I hope the above has answered your query, but if you have any other questions you're welcome to get back in touch.
Kind regards,
Samatha Lyons

Does anyone have a recent drinks menu from the dream?
-
Thanks, very helpful.
Just walking around the town is a fabulous experience. There is also a nice walk along the prom, towards where they fire the cannon on an evening.
If you turn left as you come out of the terminal and walk till you get to the bus terminus there is a huge indoor market. It sells some unusual and very cheap items.
Right from the terminal, on the other side of the road is the ho-ho bus stop which will take you all around Havana.
Enjoy yourself it's absolutely great.

Off on the Cuban fusion trip on14th Feb. Can anyone recommend what to do during the day, and also bars or restaurants to visit. Don't really want to do any organised trips.
-
Also looked at the Cozumel terminal and that differs to my eticket. I have booked a private Stingray city trip on Feb 15. Does anyone know a number where we can get reliable info re: itinararies??
Thanks for the link, I had already looked at that site a few weeks ago.Not sure that the details can be relied on, though, as the disclaimer says, they depend on the cruise companies giving them information about any changes.
The port site certainly differs from the latest info on my Thomsons e-ticket for Cuban Fusion cruise itinerary.
