    im finding a lot of the tours do a fair timed stop in Sorrento and then very little time to stop in Positano. Positano looks so gorgeous, is it worth finding a tour that offers more time in Positano and less time in Sorrento or is that not quite the thing?

    is the water warm at the Krka falls? it Plitvice a more pituresque place? I did read that swimming is no longer allowed there? is it still worth the longer drive to get to vs Krka?

    we will DEFINITELY be visiting the Krka waterfalls but doing that from Zadar as it looks like it is cheaper and closer than from Split. Therefore we are now just looking at excursions we can do from SPLIT. :)

    I know excursions can cost a lot, would the HOHO offer the drive out to Cefalu? or bus or taxis or not even bother?

    not too sure what to expect from the kids as we havent really travelled like this with them. they will be 9 and 6 years

    looks great but my husband can't swim and my 2 kids are too young to freestyle swim from off the side of the boat. any other suggestions?

    Hi CC's we will be visiting Siracusa by NCL ship in August apart from the ships booking, wondering if anyone can recommend other companies that tour around? thinking of a visit to Noto???

    we are heading to Palermo in August with kids we are thinking of booking a tour to Cefalu which goes for just a few hours after that we thought we could casually stroll Palermo on foot without a tour - is it far from the ship port? - i.e. would we be able to do so easily, without a tour booked?

    p.s. I should add, the cruise ship have one and it visits Pompeii Amalfi coast AND Capri in the one day.... that sounds extremely exhausting - anyone tried it? would you recommend against squeezing all that into 1 day? I was thinking skipping Capri, husband says do it :S

    Hi CCs, travelling 2 adults with 2 kids in August. Can someone recommend a company that would be able to pick us up from our cruise port and take us to both Pompeii and Positano, before dropping us back at the port in Naples? huge thanks 🙂

    hey CCs We are stopping at 2 ports in Sicily - SIRACUSA and PALERMO going by the maps, Siracusa looks closer to Taormina?? I’m trying to find an excursion that will take us to Taormina. Can anyone recommend? thanks in advance. B.

    who are everyone elses favourite lines that might make out cheaper? I think before I book flights, I should review this NCL cruise I had on my calendar!!

    but are they stuck in the "kids club room" or are they out with the crew doing fun stuff around the ship? i.e. are they free ranging where ever they'd like to go with supervision or are they stuck in the room doing daycare-like activities?

    Ignorant question as I’ve never sailed with kids, what do they do in kids club? Can they go anywhere on the ship or are they stuck in the “kids club” room?
