  1. What a great review. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and seeing it through your eyes as a solo cruiser (although I've never cruised solo). Maybe I will leave the hubby at home and try it. 🤣 We're sailing Equinox post revolutionizing in suite class so I'm looking forward to the changes. Keep enjoying and posting!!!
  2. We're doing the exact same thing on Sunrise in July for our grandson and granddaughter (12 and 6). Our daughter knows (she's coming too) but the kids don't. We cruise every year in October and our grandson always wants to go. Can't wait to see the surprise on his face when he realizes we're not going to the Hamptons. 😁
  3. Thank you for your postings and hard work in giving us all updates on the ship's refurbishment. Your pictures are beautiful and the ship looks wonderful. I'm really enjoying your review.
  4. Loved the CS on Summit. We are actually booked in a CS on Equinox for October. Can't wait to see what it looks like after the Revolution!
  5. I really appreciate your review. It has been really informative and you take beautiful pictures. We sail on her when your return tomorrow. I'm following the weather closely to be sure she will be able to dock (fingers crossed). Hope your final night won't be too bad. Thanks for all the updates.
  6. Would love 9, 10 or 11 but we'll find out on board the ship. 😊
  7. We received the email from the concierge on Anthem last Saturday, requested a cabana and was confirmed. We sail this Saturday so life is good! 😊
  8. Watched you sail away too. You had a beautiful sunny day.
  9. That's good to know. I hope to get a cabana through the concierge on Anthem. I have emailed a couple of times but so far I am hearing crickets! We sail next Saturday; fingers crossed.
  10. Looking forward to your review. We too will be boarding when you return so take good care of our ship. Enjoy!
  11. We also did NCL's Pride of America. Flew directly to Oahu and stayed a couple of days before the cruise in Waikiki. As mentioned above, the ship is really your floating hotel. There is entertainment on board likes shows, etc. but no casino which really doesn't matter because you'll be off the ship more than you're on the ship. It's very port intense; two days in both Maui and Kauai and both sides of the Big Island. Be sure to arrange transportation and/or excursions because there's not much around where the ship docks.
  12. Thanks for the info. We sail on Anthem next month. Can't wait!!!
  13. Bayonne is always beautiful when a ship is in port. :)
  14. Is Anthem's Coastal Kitchen open for lunch on embarkation day?
