Family JS has king bed also Pullman and sofa bed also 1 1/2 bath. When you come in at night your cabin attendant has your sofa bed all nice. It doesn't feel like a normal sofa bed

Several pay restaurants also.

So they change the menu at least once per cruise correct?or is it the same every night.

One is formal others business casual?

I gather there is a place to see menu for each night so we can decide before we make a daily reservation.

Do any of them have a lobster night that is free ?

There will be four of us so probably a reservation is necessary rather than just walk up.

We have a JS. Yes I know usually no perks. So I doubt we can have dinner in Coastal kitchen. But will D+ get us in there

What exactly is Coastal Kitchen. We are booked in JS next fall. I thought that was for higher levels. We are D+ if that gets any special perks

138. The last post from you helped explain. So I take the train from Boston to Newark not Ewr. Either wait for hotel shuttle or take taxi to hotel

Go back to same train and that is also where we get the path train to WTC.

I'm assuming once at WTC we can buy tickets for the tour bus and head out from there. Tour most the city

Only other option is to have you come with us and hold our hands and get us thru the big city lol and trains.

Where and how do we get on the ferry ?

We decided to stay one more day in NYC. So we will take the train from Boston on Monday. Gives us two full days to tour. So the train from Boston doesn't arrive at Newark Penn ? I thought that was right near the Best Western Treat

And one more. When the ship sails do we pass the Statue of Liberty

138. Perfect. This all sounds doable. Honestly taking all these trains to the city is both scary and exciting. How did you get to the port ? Any idea of the cost .

Looks like the day we arrive from Boston would be noonish. Just hope hotel will store our luggage I would like to spend the half day go see Statue of Liberty . How do I get there. Next day we will go to the city and get the tour on off bus and spend all day.

139. I rechecked my reservation. 10/6/16. Is a 9 day New England talk about a panic.

So I'm thinking just take the Amtrack from Boston to Ew. Find a hotel close by Then take a train or what ever you call it to Manhattan. I guess we will book the hop on and off tour to see it all in a day. Now we decide how to get to the port in the morning . We can't pay more than 180.00 per night is why we are not taking the train to Penn and trying to get closer to cape liberty or the airport .

Boy this is a long time from now. Will try not drive you all crazy with questions.

thanks 138. Our cruise is Oct 6 2016. Not sure but thinking just 4 days in Boston Vermont area. And of course King Arthur. Think we could make a nice loope and just 2 days days in NYC.

would we drive from Boston to Jersey or do we go back to Boston. Guess I better look it up. Just the beginning planning stages.

1.thinking drive from Boston to Ogunquit.

2.Stay the night Walk the Marginal way and dinner at Perkins Cove.

3.head to NH Highway 112. stay night

4..Go to Norwich stay

5.then slow trip back to Boston.

6 stay another night in Boston area.

7. Head to Jersey. But I am worried about the traffic so might check out the train.

8/9 somewhere near port.in the city/ I like the idea staying close to port. Not sure of price yet. this will be a quick 9 days.

SO I need your help. We had the most fantastic trip planned. 5 days road trip tour Vermont/Boston then cruise Oct 11 2015 All hotel and car reservations made. Well all those good plans came to a end. Our travel partner is sick. Dang So we immediately cancelled and rebooked for next year. But this time we will fly to Boston /vermont road trip four days prior then go to Cape Liberty. So How do you get there from Boston?. If we stay a couple of days near the port Is it easy to get to NYC for a city tour . Just thought the rooms would be less than the city.And last when I fly after the cruise to California which airport is the best to use. I'll be flying American. Dang I was so looking forward but Im sure all things work out for the best.

Truthfully we enjoyed being closer to the water slides . The beach was beautiful lots to watch. Our girls 22 and 15 had a great time. We spent most of the day on a float in the water. You can always rent a umbrella for shade. I don't like the idea of being confined to just one area. It was fun to move around on the beach.

Cocktails are plentiful all over the area and we ate a late big breakfast so we never even ate lunch in coco cay.

But it did smell nice when we walked by. Instead we rushed to beat the crowds on the tenders and went straight to Serrantos for pizza.

No matter what you decide your family will enjoy. In my opinion no on the cabana

That's exactly what we did last week. Just outside the gates. A great guy lived there his entire life so he really knew the history. We requested some beach time so he took us to a beautiful section of Orient he sat and waited for us. After a hour of beach time we continued on and went to Maho. With a brief lunch stop at Serafinas on our way to the airplane beach.Oh what a kick and saw some beautiful scenery and learned all about how the locals live . We were back in plenty of time and had time for alittle shopping near the pier.

Just returned. I rented a car using costco travel. Rented from Alamo. We got amedium size car 19.99. From MCo and returned next day port canaveral. It was so easy. We went to Ron Jons did some shopping then just returned car. They shuttled us to the ship, my kids needed a bigger size there was 6 of them plus luggage. They got a mini van from Enterprise for 39.00 they are at the same rental location and used the same shuttle to ship as we did.

On return we had a early flight so we didn't want to rent a car. We used OCS he was waiting for us when we got off the ship and no problem getting us to the airport

ok so Im the grumpy one. Is it necessary to celebrate with everyone around. Why not just go have a drink with your travel partner. I for one get so tired of the birthday songs. And think of the poor servers.They could be bringing me fresh coffee instead they are over there with that song again an again.
