Type in cruise ship door decorations into your search and you'll have lots of choices. I use the teachers putty bought at walmart. The first year my brother and his GF cruised with us, I decorated their door. They thought it was really cool that out of all of the cabin doors on our deck, the cruise line decorated both of ours. It was funny. Even just a little something put on your door makes it much easier to find your room.:)

I can't even get into my cruise planner to check drink package prices. Says it encountered an internal error.

The situation is fluid. Very hard to made decisions without sufficient information. Both for the cruise lines and for the travelers. As difficult as it is, everyone just as to be patient for a little while. And safety is first.

I have learned the hard way that it is best to only send "play" clothes to the ship laundry. But I do enjoy packing lighter and not having to do much laundry when I come home. Never again will I send a bra.

I do all of the research and book the cruise myself and then transfer to my favorite TA. I do so enjoy the 10% OBC!! If I need to make a change of have a price match, I send her an e-mail and she takes care of it for me. Somebody is there 7 days a week so if it is her day off, I give them a call and her co-workers are always glad to assist.

Do they have a laundry deal sometime during the week when it is all you can fit in the bag for one price?

Thank you for answering my questions. :)

It is my understanding that it is 10 drinks for the $79 plus 18% tip.

How was the food in the MDR and the WJ? Did you have fun? What about the speciality dining options? Did you have a drink package? Hope you get home safely.

The drinks are cheaper on Carnival and they have Guy's Burger Joint. That being said, I am not a fan of three or four night cruises. That being said, I'm sure you will have fun on whichever cruise you pick.

I have lived in Orlando for more than 50 years. I would allot a minimum of 3 hours with pick up, drop off, and travel. I-4 will probably clear out after you get past Disney. You'll be traveling on Sunday morning and that will help. Have fun on both of your cruises and enjoy our beautiful state.

That's strange. I've always rec'd my RCCL C/C OBC months before our cruise. I already have my Nov cruise OBC in my planner.
I thought it was strange, too. There seems to be more than one answer to each question. ;)

We sail on Oasis in October and my $100 OBC is not yet showing so I called the reward people yesterday. I was told that it will not show until 7 days before sailing, but as long as you have the e-mail confirmation, you are fine. I was surprised because I thought it could be used pre-cruise.

Any idea how we can tell if we are in a solid bulkhead that won't open? We are in 14664 and 14662 on Oasis of the Seas and looking at the pictures of the ship, I can't tell if they are solid or not. I called and got the help of someone who told me no balconies open so I thought I would try here.

I count down the months, the weeks, and the days. We cruise every year and have for the last 25 years. I simply love to cruise. The time on the boat is just spectacular to me. A little advise - Never wish your life away willing your cruise to get here sooner. This is your research, planning, and prepping time. And that is so much fun. It is almost as much fun as the cruise itself. Enjoy your planning and enjoy your cruise. One more thing - Once you make up the perfect cruise list, save it in your computer so each cruise you simply print it off and you are ready to start packing.

Thanks for the answer Host Bob. I'll just have to be patient. Not easy for me.:D And congratulations on your "upgrade". I am old to cruising but new to Royal and your advise has been very helpful.

I cashed in 10,000 points on my Royal credit card for $100 OBC a couple of days ago. Could somebody please tell me where on my cruise planner it will be? Will it have it's own tab or be under another tab? Thanks

Travel safe and have fun. It's 10 weeks for us. Looking forward to your review.:)

We don't often plan that far ahead on vacation. If we are not going to make it for a specialty restaurant reservation, we cancel. But, if we decide at the last minute to go to the buffet instead of the MDR, no we don't tell anyone. I'll have to rethink that after reading the replies. We have traditional dining this time.
-
I'm wondering if anybody knows the timeline for pre-cruise discount on beverage packages. If you buy at 20% off and it goes to 30% off, can you cancel and re-purchase?
-
We were able to book 50% off called First Night Done Right for our October cruise on Oasis. It was $15.00 per person paid when booked. It is my understanding that the restaurant will be assigned upon boarding but we can change restaurants if we want and there is space available.

I'm trying to check prices and room availability on an Oasis of the Seas cruise in October in which we are paid in full. The website will not let me get past the second page. I figured it knows that I am already on that cruise even if I don't log in and clear the cache. Am I correct that it knows I am already booked or is it the website? I use firefox.

I really enjoyed your review. Very informative. We're sailing on Royal for the first time in October and I need all of the help I can get. BTW- We make it all of the way through many of our cruises without ever stepping foot in the MDR. We check out the menu then head to the buffet in our shorts. Ah... vacation.:D
Anyone able to log into RC account now?

Mine was saying an internal error has occurred but it has cleared now.
