It’s good advice. Unbelievably Karen comes from my home town in Scotland and her parents live in the next village to my son

Did Karen previously work for Celebrity?

You'll be pleased to hear that you are missing snow in your village today as well.

Assuming that you've already booked the cruise...

You need to either sign-in on the Azamara website, or use the "Manage My Booking" link at the top of the home page.  (If you haven't already linked your booking to your sign-in, you may need to request Azamara to do this.)

Once logged in, you'll see a list of your bookings - select the one of interest, and you'll be taken to the "Seaware" system, where you can, ah, manage your booking.  There's a section there for Excursions, it shows pricing and allows you to select and pay for excursions if you so desire.  (Although using OBC to pay is not at all straightforward.)

Caveat - this is based on my experience with the US site, it might vary in the UK...

Thanks for the detailed update and yes booked on the cruise leaving on the 22nd December this year.  Tried what you suggested and I still can't see pricing. I can see all the excursions, just not pricing and the all important Book button! Will send an email to Azamara and see what they come back with on the issue.

  3. Can anyone post up how to see the actual price of excursions? I know how to get in to see what’s available, just not how to find the price and book if I’m interested.  Thanks in advance for any help.

  4. Pursuit - 8 night Turkey Intensive from Athens

We fly into BCN Friday AM and will get the test before leaving the airport. Same company for the return.

Hi, is this flycovidtestcentre.com in the airport on levels 1 or 3 you are using?  I am trying to organise a test with them as well just now for the 30th May and would be interested to hear about your experience.

Thanks!  We bit and booked a Suite Guarantee.  Just got assigned 6190 which is probably the worst suite on the ship.  But then again, can you really have a bad suite on a cruise?  I would lose $475 OBC to switch to a S2, so we are staying.

I've been in 6190 and was a bit concerned before I sailed however once we got on board, we loved the room.  The first time the magic carpet goes up was fantastic to watch and as there is no-one on it at the time of it moving, you aren't inconvenienced.  The room is in a great location and I loved that I could sit out on my balcony and listen to the music coming up from the magic carpet when there were singers performing.  It's not as bad as you think it is going to be....

  7. Wonder if anyone can help with this?

On the description for my room, it has: "For a charge: Access to the exclusive sun deck".

Does anyone know what the charge is per person per day and where is the exclusive sun deck? Is it the Aurea sun deck?

We are sailing on Bellissima in March.

    Thanks

    Karen

  8. Taxi's are available outside the port exit. The trip should take 25 - 30 minutes. Airlines prefer that you arrive 3 hours in advance to get thru Bahamas customs and US Immigration and customs before boarding.

Thank you. Is the airport as bad as I have read in that the lines are long and immigration and customs take for ever? We disembark at 12 noon and have a 3.47 pm flight to Miami.

  9. We were remarried at Sandals Royal Bahamian for our 25th wedding anniversary. Obviously, loved loved the resort. We're going to try for a day pass from Symphony of the Seas on Friday, Nov. 30. I see you're on MSC Seaside. What day will you be in Nassau?

    Kathy

We're actually on Mariner of the Seas first and in Nassau on the 18th of November and then on Seaside which is in Nassau on the 30th November, so as there's 14,446 passengers on the 18th with six ships in port and 20,407 passengers on the 30th November with five ships in port and Seaside arrives at 12 noon, it'll likely be the 18th we'll try and go as Mariner is in port earlier. Not sure we'd get a pass to Sandals at 12 noon if you can't book them in advance.

  10. Hi, can any recent cruisers confirm if the ship docked early or was it right at 12 noon? If it did dock early, were you able to get off earlier? I'm trying to arrange a few things for Nassau but timing is key to getting it correct. I realise that anything can happen on our actual cruise but curious to see if the ship was early in arriving in the past.

    Thanks

    Karen

  11. We are in this very situation in November. We arrive in to Nassau at 12 noon on MSC Seaside and have a flight out of Nassau at 15.42 pm to Miami. This is the only flight we can get as we are flying back to the UK from Miami at 11.00 pm that night. How far away is the airport from the cruise port and are there taxi's readily available at the port when we disembark?

  12. Can anyone advise how far away Sandals is from the cruise port and the approximate taxi cost?

We got married at Sandals in Jamaica in 2001 and haven't been to any other of their resorts so it would be nice to go for the day if we could get the chance.

    Thanks

  13. Stumbled across your post, so looking forward to your review as I've read your previous reviews in the past and they are always great and informative. Interested to see what class your sailing. We're sailing on the ship on the 24th November this year in Yacht Club after reaching D+ with Royal Caribbean and Elite + with Celebrity. We're curious to see what YC has to offer on MSC.

  14. Does anyone have up to date information on this?

I have rented 2 loungers with what looks like a hood that comes up for some shade but no idea where they are located on Coco Cay. We are there in November 2018 and would be good to know where we are heading to when we get on to the island.
