  1. Hi, I have many questions and would appreciate all the advice any of you have.

    1. Does anyone have a picture of the current map of GSC? The only one I saw still has the hippo slide on it.

    2. Does anyone have a picture of the numbered small cabanas? One post on another thread said they started at #11 and another said #12, and another said they started with #3 and that it was in a hotter area.

    3. Is the Snorkel Center where we check in when we arrive on GCS, and is it to the left of the tender pier?

    4. Do we pick up the Tram from the Snorkel Center?

    Thanks to all of you.

    1. They are upgrading the Island - any photos now will be obsolete, cruises in November will see it first, I believe.

    4. You can pick up the tram from the drop off point - at least we did last time we were there.

Loved having the Small Cabana - felt private and there was a BAR close by for drinks. We ordered shrimp, and a cheese platter - it was by far the best choice for the Island. We were far enough away from everything, yet close enough to still hear the music. I would highly recommend watching NCL site and booking as soon as it appears on the excursions.

  2. We are going on the Breakaway out of NYC in February and are thinking about going to the Kennedy Space Center. However, I realized we don't get into port until 1PM, has anyone done this excursion getting in this late? They have not updated the excursions on the web yet so I am not even sure it will be available for us anyways. Thanks in advance for your input.

  3. Are you able to walk in to Embark in NYC? I know where the Taxi Stand is on 12th and W 48th. Are you allowed to use the same walkway area and go up to the Terminal instead of taking a Taxi and being dropped off? Leaving this weekend on the Gem and realized it's also Fleet Week. May be more of a challenge getting to the Port. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

  4. There is a pool and they have day beds outside with the canopies, and the beach - kind of small but it works. It is very relaxing and a short walk, just around the corner from Senor Frogs. You can go onto their site British Colonial Hilton and email them, they are really responsive to your questions and needs. We had a tough time spending our Food & Beverage $ so we gave the rest to our server as a tip.

  5. I heard someone say once to bring a roll of packing tape to tape up the $15 laundry bag, tape the bag for extra support so it doesn't rip on you and you can get more in the bag.

I have never ripped the bag and I fill it to the brim....my big secret is to keep everything flat and roll it gently on the corners(clothes) to fit into the bag. It's a two person job to pull the bag over the clothes. I have saved over $150 according to the listing for each individual item.

  6. The speculation is that no, people will not receive VIFP points for their free cruise. There is also discussion that people may receive VIFP points for their free cruise if they paid to upgrade their cabin. I guess we'll find out soon when the first people come back from their free cruise.

I booked a cruise with this offer and on the Cruise Documents it shows us as "GOLD" we are both currently at 22(Red) so the days must count towards the VIFP.:D
