  1. I think the timing is too close. I have done excursions that have a time difference of an hour or more. Too risky if there is no margin for error.
  2. Thanks so much to both who responded! I get it, now๐Ÿ™‚โ›ดโš“๏ธ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿฌ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘
  3. Most threads have a blue dot in front of the words, but sometimes there is a star. What does the star mean? I can't find an explanation. Thanks!
  4. I have been to Tracy Arm, several times. During the past few years, however, I have been diverted to Endicott Arm (as others have mentioned.). For me, it has been fun to get to see Endicott Arm, also, after having seen Tracy Arm in past years. (I do realize that everyone doesn't get multiple chances to go. I am grateful for this.) . My cruise this coming September is scheduled for Tracy Arm.
  5. Thanks for this update. Glad the time in the ports was good.
  6. Thanks so much for your explanation๐Ÿ™‚โš“๏ธ๐ŸŒ…๐ŸŒˆโ›ด๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ›ณโ›ฉ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  7. I am hoping to book a Japan cruise, on the Diamond, soon. i am wondering about the wine list. On the Sun Princess to New Zealand, a couple of years ago, they had many Australia and New Zealand wines. Great! It was not like the regular Princess wine list. How about the Diamond in Japan?
  8. Yes! I was hoping you would respond. Thanks for the great explanation.
  9. Nice to know that this involves the thrusters. We could always do tugboats without the thrusters๐Ÿ™‚โ›ดโš“๏ธ๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿ˜Œ Perhaps one of our engineers, who regularly comment here, could help us understand this issue better. Thanks in advance!
  10. Thanks for the Normandy cemetery picture, and your earlier comment about the Greatest Generation. Very classy on your part.
  11. I am thinking that some flexibility is a good thing. If the judge had banned Princess from Alaska ports, I was hoping that they would go to other ports in Canada and Mexico. I am glad this was not necessary, but flexibility would have been good.
  12. As I mentioned earlier, the Alaska cruises from Seattle go west of Vancouver Island, and these are good cruises, too. I like all of the Alaska routes.
  13. For sure, I saw the advanced warnings, too, that the Royal would return west of Vancouver Island. I have been on 14 Alasla cruises, and most from Seattle have returned to the west. I realize that the Royal was not from Seattle, but still, not that unusual. I would be very interested in hearing Mrs. Lincoln's answer.
  14. I'm reminded of a famous quote:. You look marvelous! Thanks for sharing๐Ÿ™‚
