Thanks - what did you think about it? Would you recommend it? I will be traveling solo and it sounds like a worthy splurge!
Chris
We enjoyed it very much! The meal we had was good (not outstanding) but the unlimited amount of wines they paired with the food and the wonderful people we met made it worth it. Also, the cordial (got to choose) at the end of the meal in the lounge was nice touch.

When you first get on the ship go to the restaurant reservation desk. We did the Chef's Table last Feb. It was held in the Haven and was limited to only twenty people. The cost was $99pp.

I wish I could take the atrium on the Dawn, the restaurants & waterfront of the Breakaway and then the Thermal Spa on the Pearl, put them together and then I would have my favorite ship.

I have seen them at lunch at the buffet

My daughter also uses Uber in Boston and has never had any issue with using it.

We've been on the BA three times and the party was held in Fat Cats. They have two nights for this..Half the members go one night and the other half other night. They will leave the invite in your room to let you know what time & evening. Cruised with my brother & wife and they had a different night than we did.

I was also on the Breakaway last week...The reason we didn't get on the ship till 12:30 is because the ship came in late due to waiting for the ice to be broken up in the Hudson.. I'm assuming this is why NCL did not or could not inform passengers before hand because they were not aware of the situation before they arrived.
Also, agreed with everything that was posted.

I will be leaving on the Breakaway on the 22nd and plan to park in the garage at the pier..I am from the Boston area and with all the snow we've had, I was wondering if NY has had as much snow and will it effect the parking situation?

There will be four of us on the Breakaway in Feb and plan on taking the Academy Bus service from MA. We were told the bus will pick us up at 1:00 at the terminal on disembarkment day..Since we have to be of the ship by 10-10:30 was wondering where the four of us could wait until the bus arrives?

How far in advance can you make reservation for shows? Do you have to make final payment first? I'm going on the Breakaway in Feb and have already booked some excursions, but for entertainment nothing is showing.
