Yes, balcony rooms have a small refrigerator. You will find the Gem and Jewel are very similar.

It's the Buffet, not the dining room. As long as they are neat, clean, and not revealing things that shouldn't be revealed outside one's cabin I couldn't care less what anyone else is wearing at breakfast. Lounge pants, footy pj's, whatever...

I'm another fan of the Great Outdoors (weather permitting of course). Great views for both sides of the ship. :)

I don't feel nickel and dimed. I know what to expect going in and plan for the extras I want to spend on. I've been on cruises that had very low onboard charges and some that just about broke the bank. But, its my choice, I decide how much to spend and on what. That's what I like about NCL and Freestyle.
