  1. I actually called and requested it ahead of time. I spoke to the medallion people on the phone about a problem I was having and while I had them on the phone I asked about it. They told me they would look into it and call me back. Princess called back the same day and and invited us. This was about 2 days prior to sailing. It's a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it. 🥂 Cheers
  2. Hi Sue! May I ask what suite or deck you are you are on? We are in an aft suite also, Dolphin Deck, but pretty concerned about the plumbing issues we keep hearing about. 🤞We leave Jan.6th 💮🌴

  4. I would love to know how the Izumi spa situation pans out for you. I would love to do it, but I only want to purchase it for part of the time. We are on the 16-day Hawaii cruise. How are the pools looking? I am hoping they are all heated. We have a complete aft cabin, so I hope the plumbing issues are all fixed.💩 Thanks for all your very informative information and I hope you continue to have a wonderful cruise!
  5. It was soot from the ship it itself, not people smoking cigarettes. I walked outside with my white slippers once before he cleaned and I learned my lesson. You will love the balcony, spectacular views! Noreen PS bring some tape to cover the light motion sensors, the lights would all go on if you decide to visit the bathroom at night.

We are on the Diamond in January, sailing to Hawaii in an aft suite on the Dolphin deck, and while reading your post, I had to pour myself a big glass of wine. Holy smokes, it's either cancel our cruise or pack an extra bag of patience. The bathroom issues scare me the most, and I was looking forward to the Izumi spa and its benefits. Thank you, @HaveDogWillTravel, for all your information and advice, especially the room steward/supervisor part. We usually have aft suites, and I've always suspected they travel from floor to floor but never asked. @san diego sue, please give us updates if you can, they would be much appreciated!   7. Hi everyone, we were in B735 on the Majestic and loved it. The deck did have some soot issues but our room steward cleaned everything every day. I posted this short video on you tube
  8. Being in Cabo over night was amazing, the minute we took off it got real windy 💨🌬️
  9. We just did the 360 event tonight and it was amazing! If you have the opportunity to do it, jump!
  10. It was fantastic! The views were amazing, highly recommend! A little windy in the beginning but then it died down
  11. We had a balcony dinner tonight and it was amazing! The full moon was an extra perk! Dinner last night at Sur was delicious and one of the best filets I've put in my mouth. 😜 Ricky in crooners will take you on a cocktail adventure
  12. Actually I meant 10:50 and we didn't get our food and drinks till 11:15. We ordered everything at 9:00am and thought were would have plenty of time 😞
  13. Unfortunately we will not be going to the meet and greet. We ordered room service 2 hours ago and it still hasn't gotten here 😡 and it's 9:50 So hopefully we can meet up at the first location on the pub Crawl 🥂 Noreen
  14. You will probably be given a choice of days and a time. They offered us sun-wed 5:00 or 7:45. We chose the 8th at 5pm because we have a balcony dinner on the overnight in Cabo and 2 specialty dinners the other nights. It would be fun if you could do it the same time and date 🍸🍹🍷 though 🥳 We're up for a pub Crawl anytime!!

We got a call from Princess also regarding the 360 extravaganza...woot 🍾 I wasn't looking at my calendar but instead looking at my medallion app and mistakenly said we would go on the same day that the bar crawl is planned. We will still meet at the first place to cheers but will probably have to leave after that. Unfortunately we are on only for the 5 days and I sure wish it was more!!

  19. I literally just finished watching it and I thought it was very interesting. The Diamond Princess reminded me of a modern-day Titanic situation. I remember thinking at the time, what are they going to do with that ship when it's all over with. Surely they're going to scrap it or sell it. Boy was I wrong about that, as a matter of fact I will be getting on her January 5th to Hawaii 🤷🏼‍♀️

  21. They should definitely be giving you both. Call and speak to a supervisor in addition to writing an email. I was very firm in what I expected of them. I didn't take no for an answer and if someone said no to me I asked to speak to their supervisor. I was driven by my anger 😆😆😆
  22. Princess made a huge mess for me and my Costco TA to clean up. We were previously booked on the Discovery Nov. 5th sailing before Princess offered it as a "make up" cruise. My main goal was to get all of our OBC & FCC moved over to the Discovery along with the additional OBC that princess was offering. Unfortunately it didn't happen so smoothly. My Costco TA stayed on hold for 2 hour increments for supervisors only to be disconnected-hung up on. This took a total of two days. I had the same problem, I waited for a supervisor twice for over 2 hours only to be disconnected-hung up on. The problem started when Princess booked us another cabin on the Discovery and cancelled our already booked cabin. It was a huge mess, and it would take too long to explain all that went wrong. Our $$ was flying everywhere and they didn't even use the $1,400 FCC that was about to expire that I used on my original Discovery booking 😡 that they cancelled. Not to mention our excursions were canceled and dining reservations. Luckily we got our cabin back and I was able to rebook our excursions but I was unable to secure our original 2 specialty dining reservations. I will be writing a long letter to Princess customer's service in the very near future. Bottom line we were able to use all our FCC and they applied all of our OBC along with the additional $200 promised by Princess. I will be going to the spa and casino allot 😅 I'm hoping to cash it out at the casino if I don't spend it all. Because I'm sure you all know, if you don't use it, you lose it. @rheathslc You probably already know this but you will receive 2 cruise credits when you book a full suite. Cheers everyone 🥂
  23. Hi neighbor, yes it's me!! 🌴 I still can't get over the fact they sold the Pacific Princess and canceled our cruise. We were looking at other cruise lines and they are twice the price. I was just watching a show last night on Acorn TV and it is so good, I think you would love it! Martin Clunes: Islands of the Pacific. We love Club Class and have become quite spoiled by it. I have been on the Sapphire a couple times but unfortunately don't recall the dining rooms. We are on Discovery Princess in November & this will be the newest ship we've ever been on 😉 Hopefully we will cruise together again! 😘😘

Thank you, we've done the cruise once before on the Star Princess & loved it, I'm sad they sold that ship ☹️ Unfortunately our cruise in Sept. has been canceled but hopefully we will still set sail in January to Hawaii. Now I believe you will be cruising before us 😉 Please let me know what you think and which dining room you chose. We will have Club Class this cruise so we will be stuck with wherever they have it set to. Cheers 🥂
