Hello!
Has anyone stayed here recently? We are looking to book a room the end of March 2015 and with the prices so high around the 17th Street area, we are looking out a little. We have a car so a 30 min drive is not an issue for us. Just don't want a roach motel..lol
Thanks for any recent reviews or hotel suggestions.
Keep checking- we got the HIExpress on 17th St about 3 weeks ago for $116 for March 26th via Orbitz-price was good for about 3 days and then went back up- about 10 days later it went down again to $ 116 for a day and then back- It's highly rated and it's really nice to be on 17th ST. :D

Been on 3 Celebrity and 3 Princess, including the Emerald- Take the Princess- not that much difference- Celebrity has better sevice but everything else is very close- My opinion. You can't go wrong either way. :)

I got up early Monday to do a Raleigh to Ft Lauderdale on SWA once fares opened.- shocked that for 3/26 to 4/6 their best cost was $707.00 per person RT, twice what I usually pay- Frustrated I got on Orbitz and found a Jet Blue from Raleigh, same 3/26 direct and 4/6 back to Raleigh { also direct flight} for $303.00 a person. I thought that was great. :D

Just booked this hotel for a late March cruise on Equinox. Was able one night for $116.00 + tax thru Orbitz. Not sure how long that will last. Charlie

Does anyone know when they open. Wife and I are there in spring on the Equinox- ship in port from 7:00AM to 3:00 PM so we were looking at a 9-1:00 time frame to be save. Do they open that early? Charlie

20 total days on the Emerald since 2009 and at the most any day I saw 4 people in the Sanctuary. Wife and I always used the pool as it was always close to being empty, but I think any price increase is to try and generate some cash as I don't think it is widely used.

Is old age a pre existing condition? , Both my in laws and my mother are just older. No cancer, no major medical issues other then being in the mid to late 80's. Charlie

Last week I bookend a 10 day Celebrity cruise for 3/27/15. Since our parents are in their mid 80's, I really want coverage mainly for the possibility that something happens to one of them around that time. A friend told me that I should just cover the $900 down payment now and the balance just before final payment, does that sound right?

Depending upon where you are leaving from and where you are heading to you might try AMTRAK. Here on the east coast I have seen Raleigh NC to Miami for $140 RT- the trip is about 24 hours but free baggage, free wifi &- get up and walk around, etc. We have done this to DisneyWorld once and it was a blast, but we didn't worry about possibly missing a ship if the train got held up for 8 hours. Check the internet- yesterday Staples had the 16GB Air for $339 & 64GB Air for $429.00- Yeah you have to pay tax but free shipping or store pickup. I believe the sale is still on. Electronics on board ship are no bargain . :)
